Just a reminder that Millia also got nerfed... She gets less meter from block strings. So if your mix is blocked she gets less meter. Well everyone gets less meter but she especially needs it

I think the overall winrate before was just a reflection of the fact that she's played significantly more on lower floors. So statistically, the vast majority of Bridget players are relatively new to the game.

On ratingupdate she also had a very low winrate among top 100 and 1000 players

imo its because she is hard to make consistent, in theory she was good but even at top levels there wasnt enough time to develop/get good enough. Roll change alone helps alleviate a lot of this, so i expect win rate to normalize

@@itsaUSBline Her top player winrate was suprisingly low too. I think it's just the drawback of how technical yet aggressive her playstyle has to be, they're kind of counter intuitive and they take a lot of practice to get a good mix with. I think she just has a super high skill ceiling but to the characters she does lose to, its not even close most of the time. Or thats how it was pre patch

@@nathang4682 The thing I don't like about rating update is that it takes into account winrates over their entire career with that character. She was pretty unique and so I can understand even top players losing a decent amount against conditioned celestial players who have been maining the same launch character for a year as they tried to figure out Bridgets playstyle. I still think she was mid tier as a celestial player, but to the characters she did lose to there was no contest, her hard counters were really difficult to play against

exactly, my struggle against her as potemkin was difficult enough, even a bad bridget can give me so much pressure, it's nuts. Now it's probably even worse.

To be fair she had a lot of bad matchups before. I don't know how they are after the patch but yeah.

@@wardogbobby2974 I feel like all she needed were the QOL updates like not being able to 6p between gatlings. Other than that she has massive disjoints, shes fast, her air roll baits are basically unreactable. She requires fundamentals yes, but fundamentals with with massive normals is super strong.

@@radfield6089 idk maybe its just cause I play Faust who has a good matchup against her. Might change my thoughts in a week or so; just need to see how stuff is utilized in game before I draw conclusions of how she is now. She just seemed kind of low mid tier before the patch.

@@PinePizza tbf pot is by far her easiest matchup so it's no surprise that you struggle against her. I feel like I'm knowledge-checking pots a lot so it might help to figure out how to defend against her. She has very low health and does very little damage so you do only have to be right 2-3 times to win the round. Also her changes here requires some investment to implement and aren't going to be noticeable for bad Bridget players so the experience is probably gonna be the same against those players.
