@@Foxtrot6624 Firstly, Mitoma does not move inside in the 2-3-5 shape, he is the leftmost player. Then the two strikers, our RCM (usually Groß) and our RW make up the other 4 from the front 5. Our fullbacks invert with the other central midfielder making the middle 3. When Estupiñan inverts he sometimes overlaps or underlaps to make more of a front 6, but Mitoma stays wide because it’s easier for him to isolate a defender to dribble past. Secondly, our buildup is different now to how it was 8 months ago. In our games this season Groß has dropped between the centre-backs in buildup to make a back 3 because teams have focused more on blocking the middle to stop our bounce passes, so with our centre-backs moving wider and our fullbacks inverting it opens passing lanes from our CBs to our wingers, which we use a lot. Dunk passing to Mitoma especially is a very common pass now in our buildup rather than going through the central midfielders. The forwards dropping deep part is correct, we still do this.
