People in this country have really gone mad. She's not glorifying anything. She's just reporting fact. Fact how Naga people stop an imperial army who were conducting massacre in entire South East Asia from entering their land.

lol do you know some Naga tribes also provided logistics and support to INA when they realised their objective?!! happens when you read distorted history... I've lived in Nagaland , known from the locals as well as historical sources.. imperial Army's along with INA was going to liberate india not like the transfer of power we had in 1947 as dominion status.

Stop glorifying being the slaves of British, it was INA , azad hind fauj in Kohima fighting against British to liberate India...our brown sepoys will never stop this having slavery mindset. grow a spine for once and support your own country and not British masters

They were fighting the Japanese not INA. INA was fighting the British in Imphal.

My grandfather and his brothers were in that fight , where British army was lost and then both of my grandfather were captured by Japanese and were in Japanese prison for ten years, and finally NETA JI had requested Japanese to free them , then NETA Ji had made an army against British called AJAD HIND FAOJ , then both of them joined AJAD HIND FOUJ ,

Those weren't only Japanese but INA troops who were fighting to liberate India . The British India Army basically consisted of Indian and foreign mercenary troops, traitors and collaborators of the British. If there was no INA, India would still be a dominion of the British which is what Gandhi so called father of the nation wanted and not real independence of India. You need to be asking why India continued with colonial Army, police, paramilitary which were created to subjugate India and Indians instead of INA and naval mutineers none of whom were employed in so called independent India Army and navy?
