What's amazing is that BTS' fans aren't just teenagers.... Even adults ages 30 to 50 listen to BTS, buy their albums and go to their concerts. It only shows that BTS songs don't only reach out to the generation of today, but also of those who came ahead of them. I am 62, and American.... my 2 sons are older than BTS, and I am a HUGE fan ! Their fans have to boundaries, because they are more than handsome guys on a stage singing songs..... they stand for something and are beautiful, humble human beings that are sharing the message of love, acceptance and appreciation to the world. They are the most honest, genuine artists that reciprocate the love and devotion they receive- and believe me, that is unheard of in the music industry here in the states.
BTS though they are k-pop...now they are truly an International band !! Music has no language barrier...BTS music has influenced people in every nook and corner of the globe !!! May their music spread happiness all over the Universe !! May they have many many more success in their future endeavour !!

I am a 38 years old BTS fan from South America. I do respect The Beatles as music legends. However BTS lyrics and music means more to me on a personal level. I Just went to their stadium show in Brazil and it was the BEST show of my life.
The difference is the Beatles music stands the test of time. People still listen to the Beatles today, their albums are ranked as the greatest rock albums of all time. Hard to say right now if people will be listening to BTS in 50 years. I hope they do.
I laugh because they have been in the the USA more than several times over years they just now getting recognized when they won the first billboard I ran to the internet to see what was said in their own country I couldn’t find a thing well I will take that back Asian boss went around and asked people in Korea what they thought about them winning it was a mixed review with many not knowing so sad it when they won it a second time and the third time that things took flight not trying to hate it is just a fact I was floored when the hater tried to get them disbanded by the blue house they actually signed petitions and said they didn’t deserve artists of the year.also sad I’m not sure if all this is true but I do know Bighit started going after these hater which was good🤗 I don’t understand why people are so critical towards one another they rather ruine someone life than understand everyone is different and have different dreams on how they want to succeed in this world with that said you need to remember you never know how someone might turn out point in case BTS who are now more famous than they ever dreamed of and I’m so glad for them all😊🤗

대중음악 역사를 모르는 분들이 BTS Invasion이라는 콩글리쉬 용어를 사용하는 데 참으로 답답하다. 당연히 어떤 미국인도 이런 용어를 사용하진 않는다. [Korea Invasion]이란 BTS를 시작으로 앞으로 계속해서 한국인의 보이밴드나 가수들이 미국으로 쏟아 질것이란 뜻으로 말하는 용어이다. 비틀즈에 의한 [British Invasion]으로 롤링스톤즈와 그외 수많은 영국 가수들이 미국으로 몰려 들어가 오늘의 미국 대중음악의 주류가 된 것처럼 말이다. 그래서 우리는 비틀즈처럼 한국의 능력있는 보이밴드나 수많은 한국 가수들이 미국이 시장으로 진입하기를 고대하는 것이다. 그런데 지금 미국에 한국의 걸 밴드에 해당하는 Black Pink가 BTS에 이어 미국 주류시장을 침공하고 있다. BTS와 Black Pink는 [Korea Invasion]의 전략을 정확하게 제시하고 있다. 따라서 이런 추세를 놓지지 말고 한국의 대중음악도 이를따라 미국의 시장으로 몰려가 새로운 미국 대중음악의 주류가 되기를 간절히 소원한다.
