These results come from a test with a Doppler Ultrasound that measures blood flow under different conditions: normal sitting position, head tilted back, and return to normal posture. Initially, there was a significant difference in blood flow between the left (28 cm/s) and right (51 cm/s) middle cerebral arteries. When the patient tilted their head back, there was a dramatic increase in blood flow, normalizing the difference between the two sides. Upon returning to normal posture, the blood flow gradually decreased. A tilt table test showed a 40% decrease in blood flow from the already low initial reading. This examination provides insight into how impaired blood flow to the brain can affect autonomic function and lead to various symptoms.
