Thanks for this video. I started doing exercises to slow my breathing down a few years ago. It's been a journey with many physical and mental benefits. Sometimes I slack off and getting reminders from different sources helps with motivation to practice.

How are the children going to be saved, and who's going to save them? Are you going to do it yourselves, or are you donating to an organization you trust?

Hi, please check out Operation Underground Railroad the actual charity and see if its something you would be happy to donate to. The charity says it costs around $3500 to save one child so we are planning to raise $10,500 to save 3 children. However in reality every penny helps, we hope to climb in Feb but UK lockdowns are looking like it might nee to wait till November 2021 but this way we can raise more money. I really recommend checking out this documentary about OUR ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-c_CgQcNkUlw.html&ab_channel=OperationUndergroundRailroad

My family suffers high blood pressure (genetically) even if we lose a lot of weight (for example I lost 12 kg in 30 days on a fruit only diet) the blood pressure comes down a bit yes but not dramatically/significantly I would say, and when I return to eating normally it comes back. I find it hard to believe that controlling my breathing could make any difference but I am willing to try. Is there any evidence for this? Because if there is then we should be on some ventilation gadget that can correct this until the body becomes conditioned.

I’ve just begun my journey to better breathing. My first BOLT score was 7.9 seconds. 😬 I can’t wait to read Anders’ book. I’m also in the process of correcting rounded shoulders from poor posture. My pecs are stubbornly tight. Do you know if the poor breathing and tight pecs are related? Thx

I too have the round shoulders, and gut sucking, and awful flexibility, so I feel your pain and wish you luck on your own journey. tight pecs and poor breathing are they linked - yes i think there is a link, poor posture tends to mean bad breathing practice, and poor posture causes rounded shoulders, stress also causes poor posture, so for me its about stretching, belly breathing and working from a standing desk as much as I can. let me know how you get on. Also bolt score is good but dont over think the bolt score, it can vary based on stress and how recently you have eaten.

I thought it was nitricoxid that had an effect on the blood vessels, Is that on top of the CO2 or is it happening parallel? Appreciate your work
@TAKEADEEPBREATH
@TAKEADEEPBREATH 3 года назад
I think parallel is a good term for it, both gases are affecting blood vessels from what I understand, in short breathe light, quiet, slow and deep using the nose and your onto a winner.
