Hi Benson, I would agree with you on De Zerbi for one thing. I would compare the quality that we have currently and the Ideas of De Zerbi Last year at Brighton. IF WE CONTINUE WITH THE CONSISTANCY OF THE END OF THIS SEASON, HIS IDEAS AND THE PLAYERS THAT WE HAVE, WE WILL DO WONDERS. WHY DO I SAY THA????? The difference between the Brighton board and Chelsea board is that, at Brighton they sold all their quality players and ask DE Zerbi to work with new replacements which was not an upgrade of the players sold. 1. Please no Olise we have 7 young high potential left footed RW at the club already. Olise is talented but we cant keep buying players for lots of money and then never playing them. 2. Petrovic is a better ball player than Martinez, if our concern with gk has to do with ability to play out petrovic is actually perfect for that. I think he deserves another season as we assess how he develops as he is still very young, and our long term future is supposed to be him and Gaga Slonina.

I am geniunly gutted about poch and i think he has earned a thank you from chelsea fans. Howevever, i can see how this squad would suit a posession based gameplan. Less chaotic and more control. I can see de zerbi working, but lets see.

Bringing in a manager that has to put up with the players that the board and owners will buy is not a good idea. And I doubt that anyone can convince me of that. Especially when Chelsea is seen more as a business than a football club under the new owners. Or that is how it seems. But I do know that Chelsea can't afford not to get results imminently, but only because our owners have splashed out cash and long contracts to players of half we don't even need. Welcome to "Chaos FC". And as I have stated when Potter got assigned, getting Chelsea back to the top of European Football is going to take years. So put on your big boy pants and stack up on patience. That's my advice.

Good team but one massive problem, the goalkeeper is no where good enough, he is incapable of commanding his area, we need a keeper that's more dominant, petrovich is good backup nothing else.

As a Chelsea fan, I prefer Simone Inzaghi at Inter Milan, to be our next manager. Inzaghi's 3-5-2 system is perfect and more effective to our young talented Chelsea squad. Inzaghi has always been that top manager who finds solution to every problem and make it work without complaining, he has the right attitude and the talent to take Chelsea to the next level. If RDZ can get the best out of Levi, Caicedo, Cucurella and Mudryk, then I guess this could be worth the gamble. (Having a set piece coach will help immensely as well.) I worry that he will start to chafe with the philosophy of and control by the ownership. I also worry that a rift will open between Boehly and Eghbali (they supposedly disagreed concerning keeping Poch) which eill bring chaos to the Project. Interesting times ahead, to be sure.

ChelseaFC can lose the play-off matches for the Conference league to focus if they are serious on Premier League, Carling cup and FA competitions. I am waiting for the next head coach and then, wait for what he does and how ChelseaFC 2024/2025 goes before saying anything about the head coach. These owners have not put the fans any position to trust them because of their antecedence with the club. I will watch the matches for next season without any attachment of emotion to the matches. De zerbi completes Chelsea I have faith in Italian managers ripping up the premier league if given the right environment. He challenged for top four a season ago with welbeck as his striker with wins against all top six managers a football genius. How Chelsea thinks twice to employ a conte esquire the last manager to win as a premier league shows how sloppy and naive we have got over the past years. This man has worked with over four players in our squad and all have confessed to what a demanding manager in terms of ten centimetres placements on the pitch that translate to fighting for the badge a trait we hardly saw from our squad bar the last four games of the season. We can wreck the Bridge for a rebuild and have our games in the Clubs 2nd Stadium at Brighton. 2 Birds one stone!🤣 In terms of DeZerbi IMO he was simply annoyed by the fact Brighton made so much excess money from transfers(80mil 22/23 and another 90mil 23/24) without strenghten the squad realy. As George pointed out in the video at Chelsea he knows the club will always invest into the team. Maybe not his favorite signings. But none the less it will be high quality young players like your Paéz or Estevao. Also after next season most of the current young players have 2 EPL and one european cup season behind them. Experience wise thats a huge step for the team.

De Zerbi who wanted more experienced players in Brighton now come to Chelsea? That would be just another bad signing. They were dissapointed in Poche, so with De Zerbi it would be the same story. If they have such a specific ideas that cannot be changed then they need to sign very specific coach who would accept only training the young players and setting tactics, De Zerbi have much more aspiration than that. McKennie or Maresca are the best options, but I feel like Maresca after 1 season may also like to have more authority in the club, but for sure not as much as De Zerbi. Maybe Amorim would be also a good choice, but I guess it will be hard to take him out of Sporting this season.

On our current team. a,) Fully concur with views that rate Petrovic as average. b) We need a central defender with the vision of Thiago. c) Palmer scoring 22 epl goals as a winger begs for me the following questions; a) Do we really need Osimhen? b) Should we rather not give Jackson another full season,under a very good forwards coach, to refine his decision making and consequently finishing?? In my view a study of at least three, who finished ahead of him on the goal scoring charts, among them Isak and Watkins, would I think do wonders for Jackson. 12 epl goals in season one, at age 22, playing in a very below par side,is very commendable. Lets put our faith in him set up well, hope Palmer don't get injured and Jackson,should come good with 18 goals minimum in season two. .

In my opinion petrovic is a solid GK, we don’t need a new GK like said Martinez. I also like the idea of bringing in Victor but in my opinion I don’t think we should just give up on Jackson yet, I lowkey would like to see him in the Wing position (preferably LW). Olise is definitely a proper player but I don’t think he’s the right fit on the right side (I think we’ve adjusted to having Palmer on the right and even if De Zerbi was hired I doubt he’d change that.) If we really want to invest in the future I would recommend developing the young players that we have now and also invest in a new medical staff. In terms of signings we should only sign one or two players like Victor at ST or even Varane or De Ligt.

Between Ederson and Martinez, I say go for Martinez. The two are very comparable as goalkeepers, both being excellent, but Martínez we could likely get for cheaper, which now that we have sacked Pochettino and probably need to buy players for De Zerbi will be something to keep in mind. He is also familiar already with Enzo. I am not hopeful about De Zerbi's term as a manager. But let's at least get him all the possible tools he may need or want to succeed, hoping he puts on a surprise of a tenure. We also just, badly need a renewal of the goalkeeper position as badly as we need a striker.
