I think Donald glover is a phenomenal example of someone who just poured himself into different passions. He doesn’t try to perfect any of them, but he gives honest and full effort. Sort of hoping to acting/writing, music, and used to be comedy, he’s shown that he’s a multifaceted artist who isn’t afraid to try.
Childish Gambino's music holds a very strange, and special place in my heart. Absolutely love everything he does. The moment it hit me that the guy I was listening to was the same guy who's special I just watched a few months prior, I was very intrigued. I knew he was different, and when I looked more into him I realized this dude is really doing it all. I loved that. He really influenced me when I was younger, in ways that stick with me now. Major respect to this man
Most artists are multi talented. Jamie Foxx is one that comes to mind. There's also Michael Jackson, Prince, Eddie Murphy, Will Smith, LLCJ, Ice Cube .... Having said that, Donald Glover did it in style. For a long time I thought Childish Gambino just happened to really look like Donald Glover. I was watching old Superman movies when I realised I had never seen Gambino and Glover together.
ehh... Childish gambino is both at the same time though... there's a lot of ppl that are fans of childish gambino and there's a lot of people that are fans of Donald Glover. Chances are if you meet and Eddie murphy they're not gonna say they're a fan of his music, if you meet LL Cool J, MJ, Prince you're probably not gonna talk about their acting. I guess Ice Cube and Will Smith are solid picks but even they didnt do it to the extent of Gambino imo

I’ve been a Donald/Bino fan since Community. I saw the Weirdo standup special and he mentioned that he writes raps on his phone so I looked into his music. I found Camp and thought it was cool. I found Royalty and thought “Oh he’s really nice. Bro can spit and sing a bit”. Then he dropped Because the internet and I was like “Oh no he’s him.” Then Atlanta and Awaken My Love and I realized he’s truly a renaissance man. One of the most talented people of our time. Everything he touches is a fire. His acting, music, writing and directing. I’m a big fan and I wish him nothing but the best personally and professionally. Great video. I just subscribed 👍🏽

In a way he didn’t break the system just stayed within its confines to boost himself, you’re not playing the system if you’re still in it lol, but eventually he definitely did get outside of the system
Donald Glover is just such an inspiration, he inspires me a lot, he is one of the people that aspire me to do everything I want to do and whatever i love doing, try things and so on.
I remember first discovering Donald from Community when I was younger, and when I chatted with my older cousin about the show he mentioned that he was also an aritst Childish Gambino. Really loved his work but also his ability to evolve and adapt. Atlanta was another show I really enjoyed and Gambino's recent songs really portray such strong messages. Feels like summer and summertime magic are my go to vibe songs, super glad I found out about him

Its about the emotions of having a baby with someone that you love but aren't sure you will work out with because that question will always be in the back of your head. Are we really in love or are we just having a child together and what is that going to spell out for our future and the future of the baby? He hopes it works out and you hear that when he says that "the mama" really has a hold on him but that fear is manifested in that evil laugh and tone during the transition, that transition also can be interpreted as the transition the relationship went through when they found out they were pregnant and all the fear kicks in, before that its all chill and lovely, listen to what they say over and over again until that transition takes place and put yourself in his shoes. NOTHING to do with Halloween. LOL
