Something that confuses me about Y'shaarj, is didn't he get ripped out long before 'the sundering'? The black empire was a VERY long time ago right? Or did the sundering only create the main continents and not Pandaria? Also isn't the blood of N'zoth all throughout Azeroth's oceans? And C'thun's blood draining into the land? And Yogg'Saron has buildings and armor made from his blood? The old gods are everywhere >->
Yes, Y'shaarj was ripped out before the sundering, at the time he controlled the largest part of the world and was likely the largest old god as well. His removal is what created the well of eternity. Being ripped from the planet would have caused his blood to rain down over a large area. Possibly much of the continent. The sundering then broke the one supercontinent into the four main continents of Kalimdor, Eastern Kingdoms, Northrend, and Pandaria. As for the blood of the other old Gods, Yogg'Saron's is the most prevalent in game, being everywhere in Northrend. I don't know of any references to N'zoth's or C'thun''s blood, but logic would dictate that yes N'zoth's is probably diluted in the ocean and C'thun's is seeping into the sands of Silithus. Additionally, Y'shaarj was the only one who was outright killed by the Titans, the others were just defeated and then imprisoned so in theory less of their blood would have been spilled until adventures came along and finished them off.
