How CN Challenger Hushen Uses Reworked Jax 

i find that alot of people underestimate jax's early power. but then again in higher ranks, people are less likely to want to lose prio so they try to contest and it becomes sorta like this instead

The Jax rework looks like a fun refresh of a classic champion, but my god some of the animations feel janky and awkward in-game. Definitely gonna re-watch this once it gets cleaned up though.

ACTIVE: Jax enters Evasion for 2 seconds: a defensive stance that causes him to dodge all incoming non-Turret turret basic attacks and take 25% reduced damage from all area of effect abilities sourced from champions. Counter Strike can be recast after 1 second, and does so automatically after the duration. RECAST: Jax deals physical damage to nearby enemies, increased by 20% for each attack dodged, up to a 100% increase, and stuns them for 1 second.

It was cool to see at 3:55 that they also waited for Kennen to waste their stun proc before diving him and taking turret aggro. So patiently played

Zhonyas makes sense to me. Gives him more tankiness and burst, and after he pops his E if he’s ever in danger he can use Zhonyas to buy time for his E to come back up again or even ward hop out. It’s genius actually.

footwork is pretty much the coolest part of league's micro gameplay (which is why sweetspot champs have the best designs imo), so the man would be respectable if jax wasn't such a boring stat-checker of a champ. though that lies more so with how his e works than anything. unconditional immunity is just bad design, if it decreased damage or had a drawback like pantheon's directional block, jax would be infinitely less degenerate

1:45 jax overextending at 3 min mark, without vision or your own jungle so enemy jung comes to gank over and over until jax ends up 0/5 losing the game. gg ez

Honestly I feel really neutral about his r changes. I mean I liked his old one, simple straightforward. What I most despise are his icon changes. God are they ugly now.

"Chip damage" does not refer to attacks that hit you and deal damage. "Chip damage" specifically refers to the small amount of penalty damage taken when blocking an attack.

Jax should be unable to AA during E , it makes his trades too op and you cant even hurt him , just a better nilah W

One jax trick I never see get used is to Q a minion to spend the W proc while pushing towers.

no way i will watch it all, stoped at about 3 mins, grasp is smart in some matchups however lethal tempo will be better in most, simillar to yasuo, regarding items, i think zhoyna and nashor are the only two you can consider, but most of the times wits end or botrk would be better then nashor, divine is by far the best item for now

Counters: Gragas, Malphite, Illaoi, Garen, Urgot I prefer Tf blade as he is noticeably better on Jax Also the build is extremely situational and building wrong could make you useless for the rest of the game.Sunderer is best first item rn, but usually if they have at least 1 ap wits end is better than bork, cleaver 3rd is best damage and tankiness and cdr source for team fighting and tank shredding then dd or maw into zhonyas/ga
