@@tedlovejesus I’m 99% certain that is not HFCS. It’s way too thick and clear, and isn’t something someone who clearly devotes so much care and effort to making a quality product would use.
@@tedlovejesus I also agree that it doesn’t look like high fructose corn syrup by any means- as corn syrup has an orange or yellow color to it. Even if it was, it does look like a form of sugar- but sugar is very much necessary for two dishes, ube and coconut, that have a very subtle and unsweetened flavor. It was a very big batch, too.
Seeing all these ice cream makes me crave for these delicious desserts again. My childhood flavor has got to be bubble gum ice cream, the taste is so unique!
Wow, very interesting to watch ice cream being made from scratch. I'm not super fond of taro flavored sweets but seeing this be made makes me want to try it! The other flavors look good as well, makes me crave for ice cream at 1 am.
Would love to try these because it's hard being lactose intolerant 😭 also coconut pandan and taro are flavors from my childhood. I wish more shops here sell these flavours or make them more mainstream so I can go to stores n buy them in cartons.
Watching how things are made is so interesting to me. I used to watch this show called Unwrapped that would show you how candy and other goodies were made. This video reminded me of that
This was such an interesting video to watch. I love how different countries have different names for the foods😊. Like for example the first 2 ingredients that were used for what was labeled TARO paste over here in the Caribbean these ground provisions we call the white one Dasheen and the purple one Purple Sweet Potato 😊👀. My diet is mostly vegan apart from having cheese & cake on rare occasions, I'm interested in knowing how these flavor combinations taste 👍😊 because I love ice cream but here in the Caribbean vegan ice cream cost alot of money for just a one pint container so I don't have it.
Most manufacturer's don't waste food. They will sell unused or waste to be used by another manufacturer or to be turned into animal feed. It's further down the line where you get waste. Furthermore we don't see what happens to the ice cream that doesn't get sold within a certain time period.

Thank you for the interesting video. Plant based icecream is actually really nice. I tried a coconut mango flavour & taro flavour. Both very delicious & I would consider buying it rather than dairy based.
Had the taro drink the ice cream would be great the combo of both coconut ice cream would be absolutely devine just wish I could get it in Sydney Australia.
I anyone lives in the US there are amazing vegan, non-dairy ice creams made from coconut milk, cashew milk, oat milk, almond milk, and hemp milk. There's a lot to choose from.

Coconut and taro is one of the greatest flavor combinations on the planet. It's my go to milk tea flavor. I actually had a guy refuse to mix them for me once at bubble tea place, I have never walked out of a store so fast in my life, and they got a nasty Google review. I got an apology from the manager.
