@@featgorgon3985 it's nowhere near as bad in high gold low plat though. Silver and below it happens basically every game and sometimes multiple people even from both teams.
btw rocket league ranked you cant go up or down 2 ranks from one game. they have a division system and you have to win 2 or 3 games in a row to go up a division not rank division. whoever said this in his chat is just saying stuff to say stuff. btw to rank up form like diamond 1 to 2 it takes around 7 to 10 wins in a row.
The charm really does have the power I was getting an average of 14 kills but stuck in copper while being a former gold but once I got the charm, I got out easily
As somebody who has been in copper, they're better then bronze players. When they aren't baked as fuck, that is, they are ALL high, ALWAYS, no exceptions.
As a baked player I agree😭when I took a sobriety break I hit plat easy since then hard stuck gold. Then again I haven’t played since year 5 thinking of coming back since I don’t think cheating should be that big an issue on console.
@@anonymousceleb1148 in my 3 years of playing Siege on console ranked everywhere from Copper to Gold I've seen 0 people cheating. Using MNK or specially designed controllers is NOT technically cheating. just people who are bad at the game call it cheating
At 8:18 it could be something that kinda happened to me because when I started playing Siege in White Noise I was dogshit and after like a few months I actually knew what I was doing but I had like a .6 KD and was stuck tryna bring it up to positive for like a year and a half. It’s finally positive though.
same. for the first two years i was really bad and had a .2 kd in ranked and low like that in casual. Then as I got older I got better but I still don't have a positive kd yet due to the first years

Rocket league, at the VERY LEAST from mid ranks (Platinum) to the top (SSL), absolutely does not let you drop 2 ranks with 1 game. Every ''tier'' has 3 ranks, and every rank has 3 divisions, and one game will at MOST drop you by one division
the ranked system is amazing for someone like me who cba with grinding ranked 24/7, i hate going over 8 hours of gameplay to just get up 100 mmr and maybe one division in games like valorant

Ok yeah you can see him load the belt into the weapon, this likely means the gun is chambered in 7.62x54R which is the common round for higher impact Russian weapons (think the SVD and the Mosin Nagant.) Meaning this long should have alot more recoil and be overall difficult to shoulder at all.
People ban cav because she's low effort and gives her whole team wall hacks for that low effort. That's it. She not "scary" or good or anything, she just has a really high payout for something she can get for free (she doesn't even have to down anyone herself they can be in a frost trap)
The reason I ban Cav sometimes is because my shitty teammates love to try to play her and spawn peak but end up just getting clapped and putting us at a disadvantage, so I try to prevent that and get them to play someone useful to help the team.
Rocket league definitely doesn't have the same ranking system as siege. You don't go from plat 3 to plat 1 but when you lose, you lose divisions until you go down a rank
In Rocket League there are Ranks and Divisions. Rank go from 1 to 3 and Divisions go from 1 to 4, divisions being just that, sub divisions of ranks. Probably you could drop 2 divisions at once, but very unlikely I think. Edit: For instance I'm at rank Champion 1 Division 4 in 2v2, next would be Champ 2 Div 1
Rocket Leagues ranked system is way better than Sieges. In rocket league you have bronze silver gold etc. then 1 to 3 and then there are five divisions. So youre Gold 2 division 3 for example. There, you can rank up two divisions at once in a few cases. In Valorant, you can rank up two divisions as well, if you have high hidden MMR. Afaik if you keep winning with a high round difference, you have a hidden MMR that goes up more quickly than your shown MMR, which leads to you getting opponents of higher ranks. So if you win, you get more MMR than usual and can skip a division.
No Idea who talked about rocket leagues rank system but you can’t drop 2 ranks with one loss it takes up to 2-3 losses to drop a Div I play in champ and it’s pretty good at getting people to the rank the belong in especially after the update to the rank system when they added a whole new rank and expanded grand champ.
Watching this gives me hope that I’m not as garbage as I thought because I look back at all my mistakes and few can compare to the questionable actions In this video…

I am gold to silver range for a console player. It's really cool to watch and learn from your videos. I am currently trying to play PC but find it extremely difficult to play with mouse and keyboard, any advice?
In the same boat as you. I’ve found it helps to not play a pvp game and instead do some solo player/ pve game to help you learn the keyboard button layout without constantly having to look down to check what button you’re pushing. So basically just practice more until you get comfortable.
Same i was copper 1/bronze 5 but disconnects and stuff fucked me over and just bad luck dropped me to copper 5 and I drop 10 kills or most games but still can't get out, solo q is hell man

well, I only play ranked in starcraft 2, and the distance between bronze and gold is very short, something like 1500 mmr. it jumps further apart noticeably between mid plat and above...even if the actual skill is nigh indistinguishable(it's more grind for grind's sake ,than anything else, tbh). the difference between the upper end of diamonds and low end of mid masters are a good bit more substantial, as is mid to high masters, and High Masters to Grand Masters(GM runs between 5480something through 8k+ MMR). I have seen people lose as much as 199 mmr(they were playing unranked or was playing under provisional MMR), and i've been on the receiving end of it once. It hurts a lot. However...it's important to note that you cannot demote in starcraft 2 within the current season. if your MMR is lower than than your current rank at the end of the season, you'll place lower the next season, how much lower will depend on whether or not you lose the placement game at the start of the new season. Even that isn't hard rule, sometimes RNG will just favor you and it'll let you have your previous rank regardless. the really bad thing about starcraft 2 is the ranked and unranked queues aren't separated. it's all the same playlist making it nearly pointless to play ranked, as there's a good chance you'll get matched with a diamond/masters player playing unranked while you're trying to ladder even down in silver. and that's before we even start factoring in smurfs.
My first time playing StarCraft online I was like. What. The actual f. Just happened. I feel like within 7 minutes everyone had full armies and fleets and I was just like a noob. Even tho I played StarCraft 64 for ever
@@Seasniffer69 oh yeah, SC64 is a vastly different game. there was no online for it, and the AI is literally brain-dead compared to the PC version. they kinda had to be in order for you to effectively play via that N64 controller. like the basic concepts would carry over, but the time in which you have to execute is way less because you're playing on the fastest speed on PC and "normal" speed on console. on PC you get to play against real people whom, depending on when you picked it up, have had years or decades to optimize their build orders, and have built up near instant response times with mouse and keyboard. both StarCraft 1 and 2 are free to play these days, remastered I think is $15? difference between the original and remastered was an updated ranked/multiplayer system, and graphics. I have never attempted to do ranked since getting SC2, but that's because there's just enough mechanical improvements and noob friendly crutches(all army hotkey, and idle worker buttons for example) that just make SC2 a much more enjoyable game.
Since you were talking about the ranked system: It actually is representative of actual skill. It is used for over one hundred years in chess now. However, as you might guess, it chess is not a game in which victory or defeat is decided by how good your entire team is. With other words: It just doesn't work for Rainbow. Ubisoft has adapted the Microsoft True Skill system, which is basically "Let's take this ranking system made for 1v1 games and force it onto games with more than one player each side!". This kinda makes sense, as this measures how well your team as a whole does, meaning that teamwork is crucial, however it also totally ignores that this game is also played by people who don't want to or can't communicate making teamplay somewhat difficult. It also ignores that not all people in a team have the same level of skill or that sometimes two people just can't cooperate, even if they have no issues cooperating with other players.
5:17 It might also be a case of selection by the streamer, ngl. Pengu focuses a lot more on clip style/ “woah” content (nothing wrong with that, tbc) it’s just a selection bias which may lead to getting more high elo players
I've been between silver 2 and gold 1 like twice in the last two weeks, The MMR gain and loss is way too rapid. The second trip happened cuz I queued with a stack that invited me after a rare carry match (I had castle shotgun and people kept sprinting into me, I'm not even gonna lie and say it was deserved lmao) and that stack managed to take me from like gold 2 back to silver and the next day I just climbed back out myself. Ain't no fucking way

Dont get why vg hates the Kapkan ban so much, he is a very good operator. It may not be the most strategic ban, but it's ranked, nothing is, even in high ranks. Just another thing you don't have to worry about

I think League's ranked system is the worst. 100 LP (MMR) per rank but you gain like 12 LP for a win late season (Doesn't matter how many games you play) and lose like 14 LP per loss Like sure if you want it to be a real real grind then you got it, play 9 games and win all of them to go from Silver 3 to Silver 2 xD
There is no way in hell you are dropping form D3 to D1 In on match in RL, for example. That person saying that is smoking crack. Maybe you could drop 2 divisions within a rank but you cannot drop 2 ranks. That’s impossible.
It's only the lower ranks, like silver and below that can rise or drop a rank with one match since they're all 100 mmr apart. While in placements and for a while after, you can gain or lose over 100 mmr per match.
I'm a plat 1-2 causally and I was diamond a few times 7times in a row but haven't gotten diamond sense health and bucks season but I'm on PS4 so I can't send u clips 😭😭😭
These videos are always so entertaining lol, hopefully siege will upgrade their anti-cheat so the game can be a bit more fun haha. Was hoping year 7 was the year of comeback.
