Separation anxiety is real in German Shepherd Dogs, keep this in mind if planning on getting one. If not probably trained and even crated this anxiety can cause them to become destructive and, as in this video, cause them to flee to find their human. This complete bond with their human makes them so damn lovable!

My golden did this to me one day. So I brought him to work, he did so surprisingly good that I’ve been bringing everyday for 6months now. I would’ve never thought to bring him if it weren’t for him.

My dog would get out sometimes. It was funny cause I'd take him on a walk and people I didn't even know would be like, "Hey, is that Ollie?!" He had made friends with people on his own time. Man, I'll miss that pup for the rest of my days. RIP Ollie.

This is actually how my uncle got one of his dogs. My younger cousin was at a local coffe shop in his truck, like 10 years ago. Noticed a stray. Bought him some grub, and Ash came right into the truck, and all our lives. My uncle didn't want him at first. Now, they're inseperable. My family are big on old school rescues. Like with my cat 😂

They are truly the best breed. They don't care what you're up to so long as they can be right by your side. Loyalty is never a question.

This is why I love dogs.

Dogs are nuts. We had a pit bull terrier growing up whom for a medium/large dog was extremely athletic, fast and strong. One time our family drove to the video store (haha) to rent some movies for the weekend, but when we arrived there and got out of the car we saw our dog, Snoopy, happily panting and waiting behind our car… she broke a whole through the fence on the side of our house and ran after our car to the video store which was two miles away down a busy blvd and under an under pass. The sad part about it was that she tore up the pads on her paws which we treated and she healed actually really fast from, but still…a juggernaut that 🐕😂

I had a rescue dog with SEVERE separation anxiety and she would never leave my side. I used to have one of my roommates start playing with her so that I could sneak out of the house and go to work, but there would be times when she figured out I had left when I wasn’t too far away and would hear her barking while she was chasing after me down the street. It would make me late sometimes but it melted my heart to know how much I meant to her

German sheperds are the best dogs, you can tell by his look that he just want to be with him to protect him. Their such sweet dogs. I wanna get a boy german shepherd someday so i can call him alastor. I think its a great name for one since it literally means defender.

Reminds me of my old dog Sophie. She and her siblings had dug their way out of the backyard one day. We managed to find the rest but she remained missing. This happened on a Friday afternoon. We looked for a few hours and gave up. Monday morning as my brothers and I were about to leave for school Sophie appeared just sitting at the front door waiting. When we opened the door she looked as us almost as if saying “What took you so long to open the door?” She walked in ate some food got some water then went to sleep. I miss the little girl. She was a lazy little shit but a good dog.
