As an ex miner those drives you go in are sketchy AF!! At least our current mines have mesh and shot crete to try and make it safe!! There were only 2 drives I worked in that I had a feeling of dread in………. Having been smashed to the ground from rocks from the backs it aint fun. Broken hard hat and all. I love being underground but mannnnn those old mines you guys go into are dodgy as!! And bats !!! Yeah NAHHH not a fan….
