Hey bud. Brown Snakes normally in the mines themselves and a Lot of Red Bellies along the creeks we follow. Last adventure out on the coal fields I think I stopped counting at 5 sightings. The Red Bellies seem really placid though, they are dangerously venemous but in our opinion very chilled (and beautiful) snakes. Cheers. Eb.

We actually had a really close call back a couple of years ago. We were descending into an old shaft in Far North Queensland down towards a flooded winze. I noticed something that looked like a toad, but on further inspection, it was an Australian Death Adder hiding in the cross-hatched timbers. We were also attacked by fire ants before and after the descent.

To answer your question though, Tiger Snakes mainly dwell in short palm trees, similar to adolescent Yucca plants. They hide there as the tree grows and camouflages their maturation, while they begin to take on larger prey.

@@buckchancey Hey busy time of year here yhea I heard that I saw my first rattle snake a few weeks ago, at least they MIGHT warn you LOL. I walked by a huge swarm of killer bee's in Arizona many years ago, if it wasn't very windy they would have had my ass. we drove up the dry wash later and they attacked are truck full force. Right on Mate, Mark N. Nevada✌

No way - we were romping around AZ last year near Chloride. Maximum rattle fear down there. Where abouts are you in NV?
