It is a matter of choice. I doubt the Browns would be out there on the running game alone. The NFL today is all about passing. The rules have changed to protect players and emphasize points. You have to pass to run.

Flacco is a master of playoff games. In his first nine seasons with Ravens , he took them to offseason and worn first two games.

Flacco has 8 int’s but realistically, only 5 were actual turnovers. 3 were inconsequential at end of half, etc… of the 5, 2 were tipped fluke type plays. So he isn’t exactly throwing it away. Also, his playoff history shows turnovers way down from his regular season. Don’t get caught up in the turnover piece.

If the turnovers are to score TDs the Browns can make up for that. You are a wildcard take chances, score more than 24 points, put pressure on the other team, they are down to their backup and don't see why they would go into a no turnover shell.

“Jumping in front of the receiver” is called defense. And their job is to do precisely that. But tips and bombs taking a shot at the end of a half aren’t concerning.

Turnovers come from aggressive offense. To guarantee no turnovers, you have to assume a posture so conservative you can’t win, anyway. “Footsteps” Flacco has nothing to lose.

I don't think the turnovers so far has meant that much. He throws into coverage and very tight spots because it scores points. Take a look at those turnovers and most are caused by poor play by other players; incorrect routes, poor catches, takeaways at the catch. In some cases it is the same or better than a kick. Throw it up as far as possible and hope for the catch. Had he not been willing and able to throw into those tight spots, we have all seen those throws, the Browns would have lost. So it is what it is. You live by the throw and die by the throw. I think now you are beginning to see some improvement in the running game. As expected, we will see a lot more of the run game on the weekend. Slow down the game and run as much as possible. I would not be surprised to see Flacco play a quarter or less to see if they can gets some points on the board. It will be interesting to see what the Bengals have in mind. They have a QB who wants to get as much as he can but they don't want to lose anyone either. In part, it will be up to the weather and play on the synthetic Bengals field.

Watson hasn't been bad this year by any stretch, but i can admit that he hasn't been worth his contract either... Flacco has been awesome and I hope he continues to be... but the Browns signed Watson for the future, not just 1 season or 1 playoff push. Let's see what happens next year before we judge him. If he sucks, then the Browns got a problem. If he gets hurt again, the Browns got a problem. If the Browns don't make the playoffs again, then the Browns got a problem. Until we see what they look like with a full year of Watson running the show, anyone who calls him a bust or who dogs the browns for making the trade is either lazy or you're just a hater with a bad sports take... which is def nothing new. Just talk to any Dolphins fan...

I know we need to rest our starters, but I predicted 12 wins this season. That was in preseason, and to see all of the injuries happening, we probably could have won more if everyone would have stayed healthy. Deshaun, in my opinion, didn't get into a good rhythm quick enough, and I also believe it's because Watson didn't get the freedom to throw as much as Joe. Just my opinion fellow fans. Go Browns ❤!

Anyone can google his game logs and see he always needed 3-4 games to get in rhythm. He never got to get going this year. If healthy all year? Browns are the 1 seed.
