hello Sid's -- I can't get buzz continuity for 500m RS485 cable 24awg - but able to get resistant on the multimeter

Check the piezo in it, its just cheap quality one, and not install correctly, that can be the issue.

I can't believe you only got 40,000 hits given. I can't find a single other. Video relating to this. What is your multimedia set at? And also my cord seems to have all 4 wires plus an extra ground wire that is Attached to the side not part of the connector port but with a separate screw an ground loop
