interesting how Bryan has had veneers put on his teeth after his recent videos, I wonder how he will explain this in future videos and if/how it will affect his future oral health

Oral pathogenic bacteria are now associated with Alzheimer’s disease, obesity, heart, disease, colon cancer and the list goes on. It’s so important to take care of your teeth because we now know it may be the origination point of many diseases. One pathogenic bacteria that set up in the mouth is Fusobacterium nucleatum - keeping that low means increasing the abundance of healthy bacteria in the mouth. One way to do that is to take care of your mouth and use an oral probiotic such as in lozenge form.

Also stop using mouthwash because it kills the healthy bacteria.

Electric toothbrushes make a huge difference. Oral-B is the best brand, IMHO; they're inexpensive, and the brush heads last much longer than a manual toothbrush. There's really no comparison in the cleaning ability between manual and electric. Well worth the small investment.

@@ModernHealthspan You really owe it to yourself and your oral health to go electric, Richard. The difference is immense, and you'll notice it after the first use. You don't need to get the fancy versions either -the cheap ones work just as well

Coconut oil pulling daily 10 to 20 minutes per day is excellent for oral health!

How many times a day should we floss? Since I brush at night and then again at rising, I doubt that flossing in the morning we help.

Hi Paul, thanks for the question. Just my opinion but I think once a day is fine. If it is convenient I do waterfloss after lunch or breakfast. It is quicker and cleans the debris out.

Is Tea tree oil being antimicrobial a good thing? Fluoride is also antimicrobial and that’s why we refrain from using it.

Hi thanks for sharing. It is true. The thing is that the gum diseases are caused by build up of "bad" microbes and the solutions involve removing these bacteria. How to tell the good guys from the bad? I am not clear on this.
