Great discussion, thanks Nicola and Eamon. If I was stuck in prison, I am *sure* I'd feel tempted to take a cannabidoid. Can't blame these guys for wanting an escape, really. While I don't condone drug taking in prison, or drug dealing, gangs etc., I hope these guys pull through. They weren't sent to prison with a death sentence.
@@polly6336 yeah I heard a great one from a district court judge "obviously I've reports that prolonged cannabis use can lead to anxiety and psychological issues, well what better environment than prison for a great slap of paranoia, anxiety and a slew of other issues.
Pure heroin is lethal. Fentanyl horrendously dangerous. But the people who allowed the production of and the distribution of Nitazine? Should never see the light of day again. Evil stuff. Hopefully they'll pull through. But even more hope that this will warn children to stay away from the misery and hell of drugs. Bless you

ok folks ,not recommending smoking spice in or out of Jail but for the two journalists all you do is get your little bit of infused paper open any basic vape battery as in nearest to the heating coil and wammo ....exactly no fun if you think flopping around the place, thats prevelant in the UK prisons as they stupidly put in the ban on baccy so vapes are available in UK prisons,so the lads in this country just put it in a rolled cig. or have a bong set up made out of a plastic bottle.
Spice is NOT like cannabis. I'm originally from Stoke in England where there is a spice epidemic, they call it monkey dust round there. It's a nasty devastating drug It's addictive and it causes severe psychosis and causes superating lesions on the bodies of users. Apparently spice is responsible for a lot of dangerous anti social behaviour and even suicides. It's nothing like cannabis.
As it’s a high security prison, with all the modern security systems, technology, and surveillance, Probably a prison officer 👮or a more senior members of staff is the weakest link in security at Portloaise, every other potential security breach, visitors, food delivery’s, drone dropping, laundry, outside gift boxes etc will have been well screened over the years and measures put in place to prevent smuggling. This is someone on the inside ( No pun intended) being paid or threatened to bring drugs into the prison.
