wonder how this compares to the new limited edition Wampler Tumnus w said to be rare Germanium transistors? are they the same kind of germanium transistors?
a Klon style doesn't have transistors, it has diodes and yes these are germanium with the correct forward voltage which is what the Wampler referred to as "electronically identical" description about what they used in the Ge Tumnus recent release. Not sure if they are the exact same, but they are the correct sounding. LPD posted photos of them leading up to the release in their IG story.
