Dkayed teaching the fish to synchro summon too! I honestly love this deck. It's simple but it gets the job done.

Almost at level 20 for the event with Ghoti atm. Word of warning for prospective fish enjoyers: The deck is not super good going second, they can struggle against a single effect negate depending on the hand and they have very little in the way of removal on their own turn, most of it happens on the opponent's turn. It's definitely not the level of tear or spright in terms of consistency and deck building options, but they're not bad. Now they're probably one of the best at disruptive plays and hilariously have a really good matchup vs tear IF THEY GO FIRST, but they still lose horribly to a full tear field.

After a month or 2 of casually playing master duel just for the events, I started playing serious again to test out this deck. For the first time ever, I've reached diamond status with this and it feels good to beat several tearlaments, especially banishing kitkallos😂

Well, someone had to teach the fish to Synchro Summon eventually.

Ruddy Rose Dragon is a GREAT monster for Ghoti, when you resolve it against a gut that has EVERYTHING in his grave is just PHENOMENAL, hop ear squadron is an amazing card as well, i don't like the field spell that much

I'm not even going to lie, ghoti is hella underrated. Everyone said it was trash but it seems like a good rogue option in master duel

Give a fish a synchro, fish synchros for a day. Teach a fish to synchro, fish synchro for a lifetime

I love Ghotis so much since they make quick work of Tearlaments, plus as someone who's invested in the Ghoti archtype I needed this video. I would love to see these weekly touraments more often and keep up the great work!!

You probably already realized this, but when you use Supay, Duskwalker it locks you out of special summoning anything from the ED except Synchro

Snopios is a deceptively powerful card, make sure you hold him up and don't just windmill slam him. Even without Zep he's a half-decent hand trap that can either get rid of recursive combo pieces and cut the chain, or make sure your Ghoti of the Deep Beyond doesn't get removed from the field in a way that keeps it from coming back. Plus of course the synergy of being able to banish an already used Zep to go straight into a level 8 on the opponent's turn. Also, I know most probably consider him sub-optimal, but Deepsea King Coelacanth is such an absolute bomb if you build for him even a little. my usual summon suite is Fishborg Launcher, Reptolphin Greethys and 2 level 4s, 1 being Lifeless Leafish for the recovery. There are several lines, but start with greethys and a 4 into Whte Aura Monoceros, revive the Greethys who revives the 4 starts you with a free level 7 without losing any board state. Then Launcher + the 4s into Archethys draws you 2 back immediately, bring back launcher into a level 10, then greethys and coelacanth into a second level 10 + the Monoceros is a bare minimum. You can take other lines like Launcher and Coelacanth into Dragite if you're worried about backrow.

Answer for 13:35 Eanoc is the way to recycle Ruby as it special summons a level 4 or lower monster from banishment when it is normal or special summoned. However, it is mostly a brick. You might run it at 1, and bring it to the field by: 1) Effect of Paces 2) Ghoti Chain (Trap card) 3) Tribute summon (not optimal, but not that hard either) In any case, you might note that Ruby will return negated (still a level 2 tuner body for the Deep Beyond, but no by its own effect), but as it will go the graveyard when it leaves the field, you can banish it again, And then it will be active! Finally, running 3 Ruby and 3 Snopios might be worthy, considering that openning both + another fish is a turn 0 Whale or Askan, allowing to destroy or banish problematic monsters (such as Kitkallos or Exterio) and preventing a full endboard.

I believe you can chain link 1 the arionpos chain 2 Askaan to stop from getting ashed.

Ghoti is so fun, especially in a tear format. You may not win them all but you enjoy the trying. If it wasn't for Ghoti I prob would have quit.

I play ghoti with pure water monsters 🤣 no baron lefleur no xyz just straight up swords of revealing light, waboku, and synchro ghoti during opponents turn & banish everything. You convinced me to add abyss dweller to my deck though. Still hate lefleur so won’t add that lol I’d be too OP

@Dkayed people are underrating Ghoti to the extreme. It's being labeled trash by many, when It's attleast a high end tier 2 deck, if not a low tier 1 deck(as it can beat/play around decks no other tier 2 deck can)

Did you really lose to a card and then bam that card mid tournament so you could rematch the duelist who played it? Pretty easy to win your own tournament if you allow to do that.
