@@manersbams9215luslie gets smoked by sykkuno, the only reason sykkuno losses to her by using old structure deck otherwise luslie has no chance against his hero, sword soul, neon, and Punk deck which sykkuno plays the most. Sykkuno genuinely never lost to luslie with his good decks , only lost with structure decks because blue eyes is one of the best in old decks
@muhammadmasood667 Nah, Luslie beat Sykkuno a few times by having monsters that directly countered hers, if she decided to put more effort into it then she could probably come up with a deck to beat Sykkuno but she’s a hobbiest she really doesn’t have to or want to go the extra mile to meet Sykkunos deck. Also she still does win against his experimental new decks, it’s the Op ones she really doesn’t stand a chance against.
@manersbams9215 sykkuno is a hobbiest. He specifically plays rogue decks. Anyone who puts effort into their deck build, and knows what they're doing could probably beat a majority of sykkuno's decks
@@asafesseidonsapphire When I say nothing at all, I mean they have no negates no monster with decent attacks or stuff like that. That is why I say it isn't the best, but not a terrible draw. It is decent to draw.
@@angetusk5627 In modern yugioh bricking is either a) having all handtraps and interruption cards which depending on when you go and what you play isnt even bricking because you stop your opponent and 1 card can just open everything up or b) having sub optimal hand that ends in a half board you usually make so it is rarely that you cant play anything at all in modern decks. Dark world is maybe the only deck that bricks in a way that you mentioned but it has so high of a celing that it needs to have some drawback for that big of a payoff
ye one hand trap basicly stops the whole combo cause its a very inconsistent deck alot of modern decks can wreck u with almost any card and integrate negates and hand traps into their win con 🤣@@f.b.iagent3971
Rank is so full of Tearlaments, I'm actually surprised I reached Plat this season with just a pure spellcaster+dark magician deck 😅 and the few hand traps I have don't even appear much hahaha
What do you mean decent plays? Konami has no idea how to balance yu gi oh. What kinda bullshit turn was that? Maybe I'm just used to card companies making attempts of controlling power creep.
Student(ellum)gets one win against the master(sykkuno) and believe he can take on anything his master throws only to realize his master was holding back
That would be nice to see. He'd have to be limited to cards of that character's anime era though. It would be plot armor against plot armor which would be interesting lol
thing about modern YuGioh is that the power creep made it unadvisable to play the game like how Yugi/Atem or Joey played. Nowadays, you wanna win, you play like Kaiba and/or like other rivals and villains, as in you beat your opponents down, negate their plays, or completely stop the opponent from doing anything
@@B0mbk1n still based on luck, even if you are using the full juice meta decks this year on in the future, the 5 hand draw in the beginning of the game will decide who wins. luck basically decide who wins. if ellum plays meta deck vs brick baronne de fleur 1st turn. syk will lose
@@MusicLife2030 I never said that luck isn't a factor. My argument was that solely relying on luck is not an effective way to get wins. Deck building is basically about reducing the luck factor as much as possible.
@@B0mbk1n You cant argue against yugiboomers or people that dont know modern game so its pointless, you were right with your first comment you dont have to explain yourself further actual players get you and your point
Sykkuno had a pretty decent silver/low gold tier deck there, while his opponent's deck was bronze 4 at a good day. It's not humbling, it's showcasing significant look of superiority. I'd love to go up agains Sykkuno with my own synchron deck some day, to see wether his or mine would win. Answer to that question: unless there's a huge brick involved, whoever starts wins.
@@adamushu But he does all this shit on his first turn. I've seen him basically destroy people before they've been able to do more than draw cards. The designers can't possibly think this is balanced, when one action can infinitely chain to more and more. There should be a price to pay. Like, you could balance this super easily by making so that every action in a turn after, say, 7 actions costs you an increasing number of life points to perform. So like, action number 8 costs 300, then 500, then 1k, then 1k again, then 1.5k etc. That way you could execute a near endless combo like this, but the price would be if they have anything at all that can hit you, you're basically a one shot. It would take this from being a god mode deck to glass cannon. I mean look at that. I don't even play this shit and I just fixed such an obvious problem instantly. What the fuck is going on with the game designers?
@@TheFounderUtopia I can tell you dont play this game, this is basically equivalent to a middle of the line nba player vs a parapelegic child. Yea his opponent couldnt do anything, because there were no cards in his deck that did anything, or at least not enough. In even a little more serious or modern play there are things called hand traps, board breakers, and then your actual strategy. A single commonly played handtrap stops sykunnos entire board from even happening. And he misplayed so he only had 1 negate, one could force out the negate with one of several commonly played options and start their own strategy. Idk if you play other card games, but ygo is by far the fastest of all of them, a lack of any resource other than the cards themselves is what makes the game unique. If magic is chess, and pkmn or hearthstone are checkers, then ygo is street fighter 6. Ygo is the fighting game of card games, its fast, its back and forth or a blow out.
@@adamushu No game can be considered balanced when, if you happen to get a bad draw, your opponent can destroy you before you even get your turn. It would be like if in chess one player can get a special piece that just instantly checkmates the enemy king. That's not a question of skill, it's a question of bad game design. My solution would fix that while still allowing for the back and forth with hand traps and such that you're talking about. It would only prevent bad luck leading to an unstoppable flawless victory. I'm sorry but my lack of experience with the game doesn't justify this shit here. It's not just skill we're seeing, it's a design flaw where one person can take infinite actions. Any game that allows that is broken.
@@TheFounderUtopia Your opponent is far less likely to destroy you before you get a turn if you build your deck better. Like i said, this is nuclear bomb vs coughing baby levels of deckbuilding. Luck wasnt even a factor in this duel, the decks were just that different. An element of luck (that is massively influenced by your deckbuilding) isnt a flaw in game design, its just another variable to optimize.
i know, but people are there for entertainment (and the meme). if he were to learn and play properly, the opponent must match the same field, and i don't think that's the variety he can have every so often.
@spicytuna769 I agree, however syk plays with some good people he just needs a little practical practice. He's deck building isn't bad though... except his heroes deck that shit is garbage... his synchro deck is pretty good though
@@alexluna791 i agree with you on that, and i can't deny either that he indeed has some good luck and strategy on him, it's just that for seasoned players (like you, and unlike me who mostly only watch local tournaments) it can be a tad frustrating to see the route he plays, as opposed to possible other paths, like you said. his syncro is indeed good, maybe he gotta risk it and play properly with actual players instead of casual players
Well Ellum said he wanted his hardest deck so he gave it to him lol. (Even though it wasn't Sykunno's strongest deck). 😂 It was funny seeing Ellum's expression throughout Sykunno's monologue haha.
Sykkuno is a House Chore Therapist, for anyone have a hard time doing chores in the house,. Just go against the sykkunos most slowcooker decks and you are good.🫕
