Actually he said that Hanuman can only die when he wants too. So that's why when all of the other vanaras layed down on the khush grass waiting to die, Hanuman was the only one who didn't because (1) he didn't lose hope in finding Sita maa and (2) he knew that he would die without fulfilling his promise to Lord Raam........I participate competitions that require us to know the Ramayana from cover to cover and this is what I've learnt 🤗
Truly, my saddest day when I learned that Lord Ram left earth to accompany Lord Lakshman. True, his Avatar was completed on Earth as indicated by Puranas. The immense moment and perhaps moments that Lord Hanuman endured thereafter. He was always loyal and accepted Lord Ram’s life.

There is a slight correction in this story. Lakshman was not at out side of the door, during Rama and Yama discussion. He was the Hanuman, sent him out side the Kingdom. Because, if Hanuman associate with any one, including Rama, would not permit to close their avataras.
This story is from Uttar Ramayan. Which is not written by Valmiki and it's also not defined as Itihasa. That means it's simply a story and not an authentic record. It's up to you whether you want to believe it. According to Valmiki Shriram ruled as a king for many years and after coronation of Lav and Kush, he entered in Sharayu to take samadhi. Lakshman followed him as he did all his life. No Durvasa was involved. Shriram chose Samadhi instead of Sanyas and Vanaprastha because he lived entire life as a devotee of dharma (means he did not live for himself, he was born enlightened and his job was to establish the human ideals thru his own example), because of which normal Ashram rules didn't apply to him. We are allowed to take Samadhi after fulfilling the purpose of life by contributing to dharma. Even modern day saints and hrishi's follow this practice.

Over the time people forgot what is original and what is a point of view of some other writer. 100 years later when people watch Bajirao mastani or Padmavat movie and think that's the real history. Now let me answer that with my limited knowledge 🙏 Rishis, munis and sants have meditated heavily except rishis and munis would have meditated or done tapas to attain some power/siddhis/boon along with loving the lord however they are different in such way that only sants have overcome ALL the 5 passions namely kaam, Krodh, MOH, lobh, ahankaar and have letgo all worldly desires

There are too much drama in this Video, Rama killed himself because he born as Pure Human just a pure Human like all of us . And his life was a Disaster he couldn't live the life he wanted to . Rama was not a God he was just a man with no powers , man make mistakes every actions have it's own consequences. After all its Vishnu The Cosmic entity has to be Restored maybe he took a shortcut to restore his God form. It make sense if you think more into the KalaChakra all these things has already happened multiple times in multiple time lines with same or diffrent outcomes.

Ram and Krishna Avatar are a form of Vishnu bhagvan..And in vishnu Avatar you can see adeeshesha with him as a companion and as a server to him.So,in every of ram and Krishna bhagvan appearance you can see lakshman and balram as a brother who's servers them and devoted to his brother.they are Adeeshesha.And in every Avatar ,they die before Ram and Krishna ,just because before the arrival of Ram and Krishna arrival in vaikunth,he can go before them and be ready to serve the master on their return.!

Anything after death of Ravan and vibheeshan becoming the king, was added by Jains and further elaborated later by Tulsidas and other authors. No agnipariksha, lav kush, death of Rama, kewat episode, none of them. These were added either to reconcile with other contemporary text and/or by fake saints to gain follower by claiming secret knowledge.

So many contradictory stories . From what i read elsewhere ( now i cannot recall exactly where) , upon sita going back into mother earth , lakshman was inconsolable and thought it unfair , and thus disappeared himself in the jungle and gave up his own life . Now i dont know which version is correct
Valmiki Ramayana (original) ended with the yudha Kand, where it is mentioned that Ramji ruled earth for 10000 years after which he left his mortal body and went to his eternal abode vaikuntha. So anything other than that is mere speculations and different versions have different stories. So the idea is not to discuss how he ended his life, rather how we can live our lives with proper dharma.

Devdutt Patnaik gives this story in Sita. But it is not after Sita's bhusamadhi but after this incident with Yama. However I haven't read Valmiki Ramayan yet so I can't be sure from where this story comes.
the most realistic and logical religion is Hinduism indeed connects mind with soul instead of trash talking about any single thing and 10000% true. I used to believe that these are just stories but these things are indeed the most true and pure incidents of past that actually teaches wisdom and guides the way of enlightenment. no one can write these insanely vast stories that indeed gives true teachings about the universe and the things that exist and actually matter in this universe. god whenever I go deeply in these stories, storylines became insanely marvelous and deep down my soul agrees that Hinduism and spiritually is reality rather than any story.
There's no way to prove these events actually happened. They might have happened but at this point it's nearly impossible to do so. Very less archeological evidence exists.

This is not in Valmiki's Ramayan. This is from Uttara Kanda. The style and contents of this kanda is very different from Valmiki Ramayana so I doubt its authenticity. Ram ji would never exiled Maa Sita ji to forest just because of some dhobi. Also, He would never give death penalty to his own brother. Come on!
It's not death penalty. Plese don't distort original meanings. Yama instructs Rama that anyone who sees his original form or overhears the conversation will die. It's not like a judge declaring death penalty. Also the graphics used are more Thailand inspired than Indian.

I still have alot of questions because im from outside religion the more i read or study about hinduism the more i have a question marks,some it good to learn there is some i couldn't accept it it feels disgusting, now i realised that my own religion(Unitarianism)too is quite good but some how i need to adopt some seeking or principle too from Hinduism and Buddhism
Imagine a situation where sages or social belief convinced a good king and his entire kingdom that the King himself is God or Avatar of God and many people of the kingdom gave their life with the King by drowning themselve in river.
It means mere mens can take down or force God. What kind of God is that . That has no power over it's creation. If guru who threatened to curse ayodhya knows so much that he asks king that now u should end life then why he made lakshman interfere . Did a bit of research and it seems Lakshman entered the Sarayu river and took the form of the 5 headed serpent and followed by Sri Rama who entered the Sarayu and took the form of Maha Vishnu. They did not commit suicide.
Couldn't Lakshman just ask that hot headed sage to enter the room himself, then he'd die, Ayodhya would be saved and then the world would be rid of him. Win win. Why make a story so convoluted?
