For all the talk about Ireland's 'rules based system', the rules are being applied to one group and not to the other. The govt are now de facto covering up for any non-Irish criminals - the media will name and shame any Irish offender, but are not allowed to name the man who abducted a toddler from their front garden in Dublin

i think it has been pointed out already but why join EU pact if Helen says 80% are coming from UK, will this not mean we will get 20,000 from EU plus what comes from UK as we obviously have no right to return to UK especially if we are signed up to EU migration pact. Under EU migration pact what happens if asylum seeker is granted right to stay by France or Portugal, can that asylum seeker then move to Ireland as soon as they get their approval to stay, surely that means we could get far more than just 20,000 in a year.

IF there's ONE, there's MORE. IF there are sex offenders sneaking in undetected, there are murderers sneaking in, and people with criminal records are coming in undetected!! 😱 It's NOT just ONE PERSON, ONE TIME.
