Things that have been, are now, or just even could be real without us to understand a fragment of it. And with "us" I mean humanity. And reciprocally we can qualify unreal things as "understood" or "well known" (eg. dragon wing/claw, viruses). But this has been conceptualized by brighter men than us for centuries and in all areas of earth ! There are many religions and all have deities and those religions present their god(s) in various manners. Same thing applies to hell or heaven that are other concepts. So if humans can conceptualize the same "thing" (concept) in various ways as various as ethnies all around the world (it varies in time and in space) then this concept EXIST (or as Kant would say it CANNOT be denied by logical means). Yeah, I've read revelation too but I never came across this, is this even in the Bible? Edit: I've done a bit of research and nowhere in the Bible does it mention this story. According to what I've come across, this story was first told by an early Christian writer Tertullian (155-240 AD) for reference Emperor Domitian (emperor from 81 to 96 AD) So around 60 years after the *death* of Domitian was this story first told. And nowhere in the Bible does it say anything about it apart from the Book of Revelation which begins with saying "I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus." Revelation 1:9-10 but there's nothing about John being thrown in boiling oil, which I'M SURE would've been recorded by John in the book of revelation or another book in the Bible. But there's no such story in the Bible which means it's probably just a tale that was made up and then passed on through the generations.🤦🏾‍♀️

They are not EXTRA Bible but INTRA Bible. Buy a KJV STUDY Bible with all the cross referencing and annotations so you can easily grasp the meaning of every verse and incident!

Evidence? In any case, the God who raised Jesus from the dead, an event witnessed by over 500 people, and protected John from the hot oil, is capable of ensuring that exactly what HE purposed, no more no less, became what are now call the book of Revalation.

The resurrection of humans from death, is a small part of God's plan for man's spiritual rehabilitation in the afterlife. The book of Revelation cannot be counted on as accurate, in a spiritual, eschatological or future sense. You must remember that back in those days, there was very little knowledge, and contradictory beliefs, over the realities of God's nature, attributes, and relationship with mankind, many pagan religious beliefs, the attributes and status of Jesus Christ, the afterlife, the status of the Lucifer Rebellion, and the spiritual future of our world. This is the main reason for much of the book of Revelation being edited after John's vision.

Untrue… We have the complete Revelation. God’s hand is not shortened … the WORD, from Genesis to REVELATION is infallible, complete, supernatural and divine. “ Holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit”… God did NOT fail to give us His complete WORD

@@briancharters8720 It's God's hand of revelation. But it's written by a man, from what he remembers. And then it is later edited by those who choose to change it due to their personal, religious and nationalistic reasons. The same could be said for parts of the New Testament, including the Gospels, as well. But that part of the Bible is not as edited as much as the book of Revelation was. The Bible only contains 1/3 of the original vision that was written down by John on the Isle of Patmos. Perhaps you'll believe it when what I'm telling you is confirmed by angels in the afterlife. Men wrote the Bible, some holy, some not so holy. Some of this information, especially the book of Psalms, originates from Mesopotamia and Egypt, as well as the Israelites. And it was edited for various reasons. Just like the visions of the prophets were. They were genuine visions, but later edited for various reasons. And it was totally common and acceptable for that to happen back in those days. It was understood and believed that it was done for justifiable reasons. One thing is certain; the books of the Bible are NOT 'God breathed'. They are of human origin, not divine, and you must decipher the revelatory Godly truth from the man-made religious error, using spiritual discernment and common sense.
