How did those HANDMADE structures do through the winter 2024?

PS My potted Lady of Shallot made it splendidly through her first winter. Even though I'm in Tennessee (retired here from Massachusetts) I did have to cover her as well as my hydrangeas several times because the nights dipped so low. In fact, my hydrangeas are covered again right now because of a freeze watch. Like you, mine had a rough time last winter and a pitiful amount of blooms in the summer. That's why I'm being extra careful with them. I've been super busy with Spring clean up the past ten days. I'm tired, but it's a Happy Tired!

Hello Olga, I love all your video's, and you are such a charming, happy gardner. I'm in Missouri and we have had unseasonably warm temperatures starting in February this year, but today it is cold! Burrr! I love to walk my garden this time of year to see what is poking up, so many happy surprises. Best wishes for a wonderful growing season. 🙂

We’re getting a couple cold freezing nights Thursday/Friday. I’m a little worried about the hydrangea buds.

Does the black plastic bags have holes so air can get into it? You don’t want moldy leaves.
