My journey began in 2001 when I watched the first movie... my book journey began in 2004 when an amazing teaching assistant took half an hour at the end of every day to read it to us. I fell in love and started to read them myself after I left primary school. I've been in love with reading ever since.

If you’ve only read the 1st book, you MUST finish the other 6! The 1st two, and the last two books are nothing short of phenomenal. I actually wasn’t wild about the fourth book, Harry Potter, and the goblet of fire. It was so different compared to the other books that I would’ve sworn it was a different author, but it was still interesting. But, all are must reads…

Watched the first to films when they first came out as an adult. Had my daughter and read her the first two books before taking her to Universal Orlando. The two Harry Potter themed lands were so immersive and so well executed, I came home, watched the rest of the films, read the rest of the books, took the Pottermore test (I'm in Ravenclaw) and ive been a fan ever since!

My journey with harry potter started when I was 5 years old. I saw goblet of fire because it came out then. Then there was no turning back ❤. I would love to see more of the marauders in the series and the origins of the dark lord

At 50 years of age. I couldn’t believe that people my age were reading children’s books…until I gave in and read the first book, only to discover they were all absolutely correct: that the books are for nearly ALL ages.

my Harry Potter journey begin when i saw tv commercials in cartoon network, they were playing the philosopher's stone, seem to be intriguing but i didn't decided to see it, then i saw the prisoner of Azkaban tv spots and it was becoming more interesting, i was liking the esthetic but i still decided to not see it, when i saw the goblet of fire tv spots i decided to watch the movies and i become amaze at the world, the story and the esthetic, soon i read the books also and watch the movies on cinema from the order of the phoenix

Read the first book. Was ok. Read the second book. Was less impressed. Read the 3rd book and recognized the tarot symbolism (absent in the film adaptation) and realized such symbolism is throughout all of the books, so I reread them all. Have tolerated the movies since (though I do enjoy the first 2, directed by Chris Columbus)
