This is very helpful. Blood glucose readings of 15-18mmol/l but whenever I take proteins it starts getting down to 8mmol/l. It all makes sense for me now. Thank you 🙏🏻
You mentioned 'too many carbs' but didn't quantify how many are too many. What would you say is the ideal or recommended carb - protein - fat ratio for menopausal women 50+ ? Thank you.
This does change depending on someone's health profile. We have a food strategy process we work with and if a percentage split of macronutrients doesn't work for a menopausal woman we need to reduce carbs / fats and increase the protein.
