Once, my kitty accidentally scratched me and I said “ow”. Then he immedeatly began purring and licking where he scratched like he was apoligizing, and it was the sweetest thing ever!❤️
@user-vm9xz4kv9z No that's for dogs. Cats saliva is pure, that's why they're allowed in mosques. If you don't believe me there is scientific evidence online
My cat bit my nose while giving me kitty kisses and i accidentally wacked her in my pained surprise and she got super cuddly like "im so sorry papa" and i felt so bad for the wack 😭
I always feel so bad when I accidentally step on their tail or paw, or if hit then by accident (usually right around falling asleep and twitching a bit). They seem to understand the immediate "oh oh oh I'm sorry" pretty well.
Man people always say that cats dont love like dogs and thats because they dont, they have much more unconditional love, especially strays. This stray ginger ive been feeding and playing with is always soooo happy to see me, even if i feed it sometimes it wont eat and just wants to play, when I was bedridden because of a nasty fever, it waited out in the rain for a 8 hours and no matter how much my family tried feeding it, it didnt eat until I mustered up the strength to feed it and it was soooo happy to see my face.(My parents dont allow stray animals in and thats why it was waiting out side, dont worry though i built it a small weatherproof shelter out of cardboard and the cloth of a destroyed umbrella and as i live in an apartment some rain is blocked but it still stayed by my side during the loudest thunderstorms, it wasn't even scared) Edit: I need to rephrase as i have been putting off a different message than i wanted to, i wanted to say they can be just as unconditional, if not more but they show it in their own unique way which can easily change based on the cat or its experiences. Its just that unlike a dog, they will only love you if you have earned it and their trust, a dog will love and show it as long asdoesn’t associate you with trauma or if you do something traumatic to it, due to most feline’s independent nature, people view them as cold and unappreciative, tbh i also used to do this when i had a dog because i loved him so much because i had him since he was a puppy, sadly after a road accident with him in it, i had to move on. But i just wanted to rephrase and just say cats can love just as much as dogs
Cats don't say sorry because they don't have the same emotions as humans and they don't feel guilty. However, just because they don't feel guilt does not mean they don't love their owners like dogs! In fact I probably think they like their owners more than a dog would because they bring you gifts(dead animals they have hunted)and they want to protect you and they also look to you to see how to react to things. How dare people say cats don't love their owners as much as dogs! (I didn't read everything so I just replied to a bit😅)
When he was with me the first week, my cat scratched and bit the crap out of me after i fell on my injured knee and screamed. I cried because i was in so much pain and he sat on my lap with his head down until i stopped. Later i was telling my sister about it on the phone and laughing, and he put his paws on my knees and meowed like "I'm sorry!!!!" 😂 I love him sm
One day we were trying to get the cats in their carriers but because we did it wrong we got scratched pretty bad. I don't blame them, but when my dad was helping me bandage up Obi went over like he wanted to apologize. It was the sweetest thing even after he nailed me pretty good.
When my cat Simba gets jealous ir gets the zoomies he viciously bites and scratches my legs, arms or hands 😅 but he always feels guilty later and comes headbutting my legs really carefully ❤
I think it’s probably more like they’re showing you they are only playing. Like dogs who play fight do a play-boy of a fake sneeze every couple seconds to show they’re not really fighting.
My cat Coony likes to stretch his arms across me and occasionally he scratches me by accident. He just looks at me like "we good bro?" One time his paws were on my legs and I farted while he was sleeping and he tensed up and scratched me good.
My cat accidentally scratched my sister once while playing with a toy, sat himself in the corner of the room facing the wall for ages afterwards, and became much gentler when my sister encouraged playing again.
My kitty ended up getting arthritis in her back legs which I found out when for the first time ever she bit me. However immediately after clamping down she froze, made her (what I call) “confused” noise and actually hid away from me. After awhile she came out and started gently head butting me.
Seeing as they can't actually speak like we can they're trying their best to say sorry so surely that's good enough & more sincere than any human apology
My cat accidentally tore my brothers foot open real bad when running after a toy, the entire week following she would follow him around and constantly give him affection. Rub her face on the foot, and be extra sweet to him
Cats are one of the most violent animals on the planet lol why do people act like they live peacefully amongst each other? Even when they mate the female is ready to attack the male as soon as he finishes
Although it hurts like a b**** getting scratch and bit but avoid and resist sudden movements, scream/ shout and hitting back, saying and showing you are in pain is enough and can train them to be gentle, cats are creatures of habit, they can learn.
Mine laid on the floor at the half closed door and would try to enter while laying. I looked at him and just "... come on inside!" and he meowed entering my room again. My small white stained painting
Gotta love taking advice and finding hidden meanings in a cats behaviour from something that's not even there, these are actions of affection and playfulness, not forgiveness
I would say I'm sorry If I thought that it would change your mind But I know that this time I have -said- scratch too much, been too unkind [Chorus] I try to laugh about it Cover it all up with lies I try to laugh about it Hiding the tears in my eyes 'Cause -boys- cats don't cry -Boys- Cats don't cry
My cat scratched/bit me cause I accidentally went over his boundaries so I left to sit somewhere else to give him his space and he came towards me right away head butting and layed on the hand he scratched earlier and he cuddled up into me and we just stayed with each other on the couch for the whole afternoon/evening
My experience? Look for anxiety: home alone 2hrs, 4hrs? more? Loud angry shouting? Loud music or tv news? The dog or cat will poop on the bed if they are distressed. I was away 4 hrs and cat getting adjusted to his new home sat perched on the window sill looking for me, and had an accident (diarrhea). He is a rescue cat, and I am a foster. Less hours away, better for him. But any cat or dog misses their human. Two cats or two dogs might be better than one cat or one dog, if you are away all day. I have one cat, so I go out for coffee in the morning and come back with one of those tiny cans of cat food. He seems much better with my going out of the house now. If it is coughing up a hairball, they don't have much choice about that. I got a shedding brush for him and there is a liquid product that doesn't let hairballs form: between the two so far so good. I recommend RU-vid cat videos to know a lot more about cats. It helps me be a better foster.
my cat just ends up running away and after a while passes he'll come over to me and paw at me or sit there next to me and hum until I give him pet's or pick him up and let him know I'm alright and that he's not in trouble, I also give him kisses and he'll let me know when he's done with getting kisses from me because he will nip my arm very gently as a warning and every now and than he'll stick paw on my face when I'm holding him in my arm's like he already knows what I'm up to but he's never really scratched me and he does say sorry in his own way. The first time he every scratched me he would run away and be done playing with me because he had gotten me pretty good to where it wouldn't stop bleeding for a hole day but I never once spanked him for it because I was the one who started playing with my cat so I got what I asked for in his mind. I do still have my cat to this day and his a black and white cat who's only 2 years old going on 3 years old.
Uh my cat never apologies, never shows love to me, never do anything with me. It only bullies me with meowing h24 for food when its literally not his time to eat. My cat DOES NOT love me and i didnt even do anything😀
I've seen nobody say this but I'm pretty sure all these 'advices' are just fake... Pretty sure animals don't react that way to represent anything like apologizing. I'm not a cat expert but I wouldn't believe all those, psychologically talking.
