One can fact-check news, but not beliefs. In this presentation you will learn about an online environment that gathers people who believe the Earth is flat and how they make their arguments credible to their audience. Disinformation circulates through grudges that can’t be disproven. Never-ending arguments create a feedback loop that solidifies points of view, and finally becomes a way of ‘knowing’ in the world.

Thanks for the video. A common flat horizontal plane of Earth can be easily verified by the horizontal axis indicator of any aircraft which flies to any location, which is always doubly verified thru the vertical anchor axis. A navigational sextant used to successfully navigate around the various oceans for centuries relies on a hard physical concept called 'circles of equal elevation' and physically insists upon a common, flat and static horizontal axis of all oceans. Any average person going outside for 2 minutes can easily determine they're not spinning around at 1,000 mph. Like most people, I was fooled by the spinning globe Earth myth for decades, until I eventually realized how ridiculous it is, while simultaneously realizing how many methods can be used to simplistically determine the Earth's surface has zero spherical characteristics. This scares the hell out of our educational institutions, because it exposes these institutions as organizations which push banker-prompted propaganda.
