How do I decrease my pain after tummy tuck surgery?

Thank you for this great video. What about high risk DVT/PE patients who are not able to take Motrin due to being on lovenox during the first couple postoperative weeks?

I am almost 2 weeks post-op and I still have pain especially on my sides. I did have muscle repair and tummy tuck with lipo on flanks. The pain is like burning tingling pain on flanks and lower abdomen is this normal. Also the binder that I am wear helps but the still feel the pain. Am I suppose to wear binder on the incision and how long?

I'm 2 days two post op, very stiff and sore. I feel burning/stinging around my lipo incision more than anything else but not in too much pain although moving around is really difficult

I feel like my binder is sitting on my incisions even tho I wear ABD pads to cover them daily and feel like it pulls at the sutures/stitches around my abdomen and sides. I had a panniculectomy where the PS did a tiny bit extra if you will so what she actually did was sorta similar to a mini TT. And I feel like things are just barely starting to heal and I'm 11 days out as of today. Regular extra strength Tylenol is lousy imo.

I had tummy tuck almost 4 weeks .... at night my feet burning and legs real restless ... it’s very uncomfortable.... I soak my feet in hot water seem to help.... and I’m getting electric blanket .... I am getting up every 2 to 3 hours throughout the day and night .... The back pain went away after four days .... The first week the second and the third day are the hardest after that it gets way better ... my feet now feel like they’re burning and legs restless I read somewhere after six weeks should go away hopefully so ?????

I suprisingly had hardly any pain at all after my tummy tuck I just mostly felt uncomfortable and sneezing hurts

I am about five weeks and the pinching pain on the right side of my abdomen is horrible. What can u do to relieve the sharp pains. Other than that everything is going good.

Hello I had liposuction with a mini tummy tuck 3 days ago under local anesthesia. My question is why I cannot have a normal bowel movement? I am bloated and seems like my muscles are not obeying in order for me to have a bowel movement which should be very easy considering that I took a laxative. I have the the urge to use the bathroom but it's not happening.

I had mine on Monday and the worse part is the lower back pain. My doctor does not want me to take ibuprofen although I think it would help with the inflammation. :(

Dear Doctor, I have done my incissional.hernia.surgery with tummy tuck.. post op 16 days already but ny tummy is too much hard and after removing drain I am having favour as well...is this hardness normal...as per my surgeon this is normal n will take 3 months to be ok

I’m Almost 4 weeks ... every night I take a stool softener and laxative have no problem going to the bathroom every morning if you don’t take the medicine it’s miserable have a Emma to make you go it’s miserable trying to go to the bathroom... take laxatives at night before going to bed .... if you don’t want to suffer

back pain is the worst

10 days post op diastasis repair, not a full tummy tuck. All these vids say "so much pain" and "tightness" I felt no tightness, very little pain. I refused to take pain killers. I am shocked at how easy this is. Just wanted to say this, not everyone is on pain.

I only watched this video to look at this doctor's pretty face ❤....oh and to learn about pain after a tummy tuck too.

Seriously. You obviously never had this done to You. Sleeping Bending walking all hurt . The pain from swelling I so uncomfortable! Motrin? Maybe after 3 weeks. Sounds like another doctor who doesn’t really ask the pain questions! This is very painful procedure and it takes about a month for that to go away!
