How Do I Fill My Amtech Pressure Sprayer?

Thank you for your explanation. I also had the same question, because I struggled to open the 'tank' to fill it with liquid. I didn't want to use too much force and damage it before I got started. Your video confirmed what needed to be done to open it. I realised later that the issue might have been that it was already pressurised when I purchased it - which made it difficult to open. So my tip would be to lift the red safety value to release pressure in the 'tank' which should make it easier to open.

Thank you. This nowhere on any of the instructions of the sprayer. I was removing the ring with the pump lubricant section inside the cylinder instead of the bottle itself.

The manual didn't mention this at all and you saved me a ton of frustration.

Thank you for showing how these things come apart. My partner put the thing together but couldn't take it apart later on to empty and clean it. She showed me what she had done to put it together and i worked out the middle tube had somehow seized in the container. The threaded collar could not grip tightly enough to stop the 2 lugs from slipping out of their sockets and so the handle simply spun round and round. After watching your video i was able to work out what was supposed to happen and so separated the handle from the pressure chamber and used an electric socket blanking cover to span the gap between the two lug holes. An old socket or light switch face plate would work just as well. Hope the above helps anyone else who can't get it to unscrew correctly. Thanks for this video, saved me throwing the thing in the bin.

Very useful. I just spent an hour trying to figure out how to fill/empty a similar spray. It really isn't obvious!
