So having problem with this?
- Mediakit reports not enough space on device for requested operations
- Disk Utility Cannot erase USB Drive
- Erase process has failed
It can happen for external (USB, HDD, SSD and Firewire)
Disk Erase Failed with the error: Couldn't unmount disk
Well don't worry there is a FIX
You will need this code:
1. diskUtil list (To see all your conected drives) hit Enter
2. diskutil unmountDisk force disk2 (will them unmount your disk) hit Enter
3. sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/rdisk2 bs=1024 count=1024 hit Enter
