Yes! We do not skip ads of Filipinez, Cousin Olya and Sister Lisa. It's our small appreciation for them doing videos on the Philippines. Please continue to make videos. Thank you!!
That was a very delicious Filipino Ube Cake that you made.. Looks tasty! Thank you! for promoting different kind of dishes & foods from the Philippines! God bless! Ola..🙂🙏 🇵🇭❤️🇷🇺
Cousin Olya had already made leche flan I once commented about the caramelize sugar which are still half done and she pour too many brown sugar in the mold,,
Hi Olya! I'm really impressed with how you industriously searched for the recipe for this Ube cake and baked it perfectly! Looks so beautiful and delicious! Great job Olya! Really proud of your baking and cooking skills! 👏👏👏Enjoyed watching your vlog! Great job! 👍😊🤗💕
Nice vlog, beautiful cake, and you have a gorgeous kitchen. I hope that someday you will be able to enjoy some island vacation to beautiful Philippines. Best. BTW, your English is going so well.
Hello Olya. Our Filipino ube is different from purple sweet potato. They are different from each other. I have a tip for you. When we cook ube, we put vanilla in the mixture to enhance the flavor of the ube, even if you use it in making a cake with ube. Ube cake requires the sponge cake recipe, and of course, flavored with ube. But you did well on your cake. It looks like a real ube cake. But you may want to add more purple food coloring to the mixture. I think your ube cake tastes so good because you added cheese to the frosting. It now becomes like a cheesecake. Looks so yummy!
@@CousinOlya If you are just somewhere here in the Philippines, I will send you good quality ube powder and buko pandan powder. They are used in making ube or buko pandan milkshakes, but you can also use them in almost any kind of dessert, bread, and pastries. I would like to thank you, Olya, because you engage with your viewers and subscribers by reading our comments and replying to them. Unlike, Andrei, he doesn't read or react to any of our comments. I have given him tips in cooking and baking Filipino food and breads, and even informed him everything about our food culture, but I have not received any reaction or reply back at all. That's why I don't watch his videos anymore and unsubscribed. I will just focus my full support on you because you are humble and such a nice person. I'm a Filipino chef. I can teach you any recipes you want to learn. There are lots of tutorials on RU-vid. You can also watch them, but you can still ask me whenever you have questions or clarifications about Filipino food, breads and pastries. God bless you.
@@eagleseye4396 I really want to make a Filipino banana cheesecake! So far, I have only experience cooking New York cheesecake. We love him very much!!!
@@CousinOlya Yes, of course, you love Andrei. But I suggest that you give him some pieces of advice about how to engage well with his viewers and subscribers in the comment section. A heart or a like is important to us, for us to truly feel that he likes and appreciates our suggestions. That's okay, I'm not watching his videos anymore and I have unsubscribed. And about the banana cheesecake, you may use the New York cheesecake recipe but put mashed ripe bananas in the cheese mixture if you want, like what we do with mango and strawberry cheesecake. Or, you can make another banana cheesecake recipe like what we do here. Make a banana cake. There are lots of recipes and tutorials on RU-vid. It's just a sponge cake recipe with mashed ripe bananas with a pinch of cinnamon and then bake it in a round pan. You can use the recipe you did with the ube cake but replace ube with mashed ripe bananas. After baking it and cooling it down, you may do what you did with the ube cake. Split the cake into three layers and put whipped heavy cream and condensed milk mixture as your frosting on every layer, or you may also add mashed ripe bananas in the frosting itself and then spread on the cake layers and frost the entire cake. It is basically the same process as what you did with your ube cake.
Glad that slowly we can reach the 5k subscribers mark. I used to grow with my mom selling ube halaya, we used coconut oil with no flour, cooking it at low heat, and stirring it non-stop until it becomes sticky. Congratulations for those added subscribers. Just keep smiling ❤
The cake looks delicious! I'm so surprised you were able to find a similar product to ube online. I like the way you organized your tea cabinet. So neat to look at!
Beautiful and simple look yummy cake.job well done sister Olya.keep it up and thank you for patronizing filipino dishes and culture were hoping all your family will come to philippines and explore our beautiful country
Very nice cousin Olya! Looks yummy to me! I do hope that one day you too will be able to visit the Philippines, particularly the small group of closely knit Russians dwelling in Samal Island.
OMG😮 it looks like you perfected the UBE cake. 🎂 pastry is difficult to learn for me. Wow. You amazed the filipino viewers Olya, well done and Godbless your Family. ☺️
Your cake looks delicious Olya!! I will try to find a Filipino bakery that has Ube cake here in California!! We love watching you and your family's videos. Filipinos all over the world are now watching your videos.😊
ube cake is one of our favorites here. but we haven't tasted such ube cake with cottage cheese for the frosting and filling yet that looks interesting and i know for sure that it would taste good. the sourness and saltiness of the cheese will add a twist with the sweetness of the cake. brilliant idea! again, sell it and absolutely the russians will love it. watching how you prepare simply tells how passionate you are in cooking/baking. cheers! 🇵🇭
wow that ube cake looks delicious and you have a talent of making cakes, i commented on andreis video that when he came back here in the Philippines he will bring you a real ube, and ube /purple yum doesn't look like a radish but it looks like a rock , and when it stays in the soil for a long time it becomes bigger and bigger , it doesn't have a taste so people here in our country mix it on cakes, desserts like ice cream, cookies, breads and even soups , and ube halaya which you made is also famous dish here in the Philippines we put it on top of our dessert halo-halo 😊
Wow I love that flavor and also color ube 🎂 cake but my cake here is not ube hahahaha. . .your baking style is great. It's look delicious. . . I know that so yummy hmm. . .thanks for sharing your videos and I hope more videos for our support on your channel with out skipping ads for extra income every month. See you on your next videos and please take care of your self and safe with you're family's. GOD guide and bless you always. 🙏💝🙏💜🙏💛🙏💙🙏💓🙏💚🙏💗🙏💖🙏 🇵🇭
Ube cheese cake! 😋😋😋Our family’s favorite. 😻 Btw, if you want it to taste more ube, you can add the Ube jam in between layers too! Great job Olya! Love your decorations! Wow, I envy your tea collection! 👍😁 Your English, and English pronunciation is good!👍👍 keep learning!
One thing i really like you because every time you bake very organized all the ingredients and clean and look so yummy because bake with love keep it up.. always watching your vlog..
Wow!❤ hoping that you and your family will come along with andrei and the rest of the family to the philippines and experience our tropical fruits and our tropical country❤
also, gotta share, i just saw andrei's pov of this and just got to say, it was really like we were part of the conversation. like girlfriends just bonding. it's really sweet. and love how you guys are all so enthusiastic about the recipes and products, and the coffee! i think that batch that Andrei bought was just roasted? Davao really has the freshest produce. They also do wonderful chocolates and fruits. Wish you guys could experience more of the same and other fruits as well. there is something i wanna add on here regarding the baking, it's mostly Spanish influenced hence the similar tastes and techniques. Like, galletas, the empanadas, the pinoño roll (?), bischoco, and hard butter cookies etc to go with our morning coffees. Although what we lack in say, variety of cheeses, we do substitute it for the more traditional tastes. growing cattle is hard in tropical islands 😂
Wow.. your awesome that you bake a ube cake because now this day especially in here in the Philippines it's really hard to find a real and taste of a ube..
I am so proud of you did it , congratulation you Guys Andrey ‘s family are the best I love so much . I hope you can go to Philippines soon . Watching you from California USA
