Hi Eleanor, thank you for all your videos. They have been helpful for me, as an aspiring medical writer. Could you make a video on how to actually get into the industry? The few Junior roles I came across get hundreds of applicants and can be incredibly hard to get. How do you get your first job at a company? What are the positions actually called that I should be looking out for? Do you recommend making informal enquiries to agencies about current job opportunities? How do you make a CV with little medcomms experience stand out? Thank you in advance.

This is a great question! I think the series I'm currently rolling out will help with some of these things but I will plan a video directly addressing how to get your first job in the industry, including making your application stand out using your previous experience and transferable skills. Have you seen my video on making your writing test stand out though? This might also help: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VMyeyCajtRA.html Best of luck for your job search though.

The video I've made in response to your query about how to get your first MedComms job came out today! You can watch it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-B6gWh12oz_c.html I hope it's useful but do let me know if you have any further questions.
