Got our hands on the Altalabs AP-6 and AP-6 Pro, so we wanted to take the opportunity to test it's capabilities and see how it stacks up to the WAPs we normally use: the Unifi U6 Lite and U6 Pro. Just an update: You can ignore filtering by password. When you are adding different passwords you can hit “bypass filtering” for any password and then that will exclude that group from any filtering/blocking rules that were set up for the SSID.

for ubiquity why dont you run your own managed controller? we do and onsite we just have the dhcp option 43 on all sites. we actually prepovision stock and then move it to right site when its sold when we can ship out and it will be ready as soon as its plugged in. For some they have their own controller. i am interested in the Altalabs but looking for 6E at reasonable cost if possible :)

Some corrections for you guys :). Filtering only applies to the SSID's that you select, its not across "ALL" ssid's. To fix this just select bypass on each password. Also mounting the Alta Labs ap is 200000x better and faster then Unifi. IMO Unifi has the worst mounting in the whole world, it never ever lines up properly ! Might want to let people know to setup 2FA on their AltaLabs Online Account too !

How do you set up a 2.4 ghz network only? Or 5G only? I am unable to separate networks. I also am not able to delete SSIDs. I swipe them left and can click delete but nothing happens.
