I love how Aty loves to be around humans. He just hangs out with everyone all chill like. Such a sweet boy!

Aty is very family-oriented and loyal to daddy, tried so hard to be around, even with sleepy eyes...! And daddy is so altruistic with the mosquitoes, for the babies' wellbeing. Sweet family!!!💗💗💗

That is a seriously cool campfire set up - I'm drooling over it. Don't know how otter memories work, but if they're anything like ours these camping trips will be some of the most treasured memories for Aty and Ui.

Aty wants to visit with Lynn-San, Omichan and Toi too so even when he’s sleepy, he stays outside. The camping gears you guys use are so nice, it does help make a good camping trip. It is so noble of Otterman to use himself as bait for the mosquitoes and bugs to protect Aty and Ui. Otterman, you should at least bring something for the bug bites so they don’t get swollen like it is now.

Otterman thanks for sharing your wonderful otters with us. You & Aty have given Ui so many good memories & experiences that the PTSD from her former life has no hold on her. She sleeps soundly so beautiful to see. She accepts all the love & is now reciprocating!!! It feels like a long time since you introduced Ui to Otter life followers because of the amazing progress she has made & is learning more each time. Sorry about your bites all biting & stinging things find me. Although it shows the progression last bites you showed were sadly from Ui. Your content is relaxing, educational & seeing otters in the river with Otterman & friends is the best. I watch a few of Aty's friends Hana & Kotaro . From Loutre Otsuyu, Odashi & babies Namida & Wasabi. With all this otter viewing Captain Ambassador Aty & Trainee Admiral Ui relax me before I sleep. Mr Cat is so laid back & regal. Otterman a hero who healed the soul of a very sad little Ui. I enjoy Aty’s videos immensely...but I enjoy the comments just as much. I am always learning something from the comment section either by the viewers expertise or what they know from their experiences...such as the many different methods in repelling mosquitoes in today’s video (as one suggested vitamin B). It seems like the people in here, (except for the occasional troll) especially the regulars, are like a great big family of the world that truly love and lookout for each other.

Camping is cool. Do it 4 seasons here for life. We bring dogs. Camping with otters... way cool. We can't have pet otters in America, but the wild ones hang out in our camping areas.

Aloha Mr. Otterman, Years ago, when I spent a few months doing volunteer work in the Philippines, I was told to prepare for mosquitoes. (There are beautiful, clean, glorious places there! But we were going to less than stellar places.). I researched that if a person takes Vitamin B Complex daily as a supplement, somehow there is a scent that only mosquitoes notice, and they hate the scent. Well. I decided to try it because I try to avoid chemicals. I believe it worked/works! I do not recall how long you take this daily vitamin before mosquitos avoid your skin, but perhaps this may be a layer of protection to lessen their attack. Hope so! Best Wishes to the World of Aty. 🐾 P.S. It is fun to see the cooking and gear/tools and meals. They look delicious and it looks easy!

Camping is the life...in the summer and fall. Camping with behaved otters would be a great source of enjoyment. Imagine waking up with an Aty hmmmmmmmmmmm in your ear. On the other hand, that must have been a nasty bug bite to swell that much. Hope Otterman's paw gets better.

Onion. Helps disinfect, keeps the swelling down and cooles. You cut an onion bulb in half, press one half with its cutted side on the bite and hold it there tied down with a sock or something else. Use the second half of the onion when you feel heat coming. Works for bees and wasp bites, too. Or spices the dinner, in any case ;-)

The main reason, the Otter's can dwell together with Mr. Cat, is that they can hear the cat(low pulse grumbling) Purr. I know this because I have A large cat. About 165lbs. Dog's here this and it calms them down. New fan to your channel. Also before you go camping, eat some Garlic, keep the bugs off.

That claypot meal looked so delicious! 😋 😍 I wish I could taste it. And I was eating Mexican food while watching this video. Otterman that's an awful swelling from a bug bite. We have benadryl tablets to take for allergic reactions like that. I'm sure there has to be some ointment from the pharmacy to take on trips in case of bug bites. Protect yourself.

At least, after the bit, use immediatly ice to reduce local blood and steroid ointement in order to calm inflamation reaction and the pain. Maybe vet doctors could to prescribe something natural to your otters kids. Hugs from Brazil.🥰

Otterman sacrifices his own blood to the insects to protect his otters. Hell, my own mom wouldn't even do that for me.

That's what happens to me when I get bitten by mosquitos. "2 or 3 bites and the whole limb swells up. I haven't found a remedy yet. Anti -histamine creams + pills take ages to kick in. It's quite wretched if you love the outdoor life.

Bugs and mosquitoes are attracted to perfumes and the like so make sure you are perfume free when you camp; this includes deodorants, shampoos etc. Here in the Ozarks I use a smidgen of Pennyroyal oil mixed in olive oil as a natural bug repellent.

Your set up for camping! That's awesome.. I know they love it..if you don't like repellent, try dryer sheets..they work great and I put them on my dog's collar and it works so good..
