We were taught an easy way to remember NPN or PNP. An NPN has the arrow "NOT POINTING IN", NPiN. The PNP has arrow "POINTING IN", PNp . Hope this helps some remember.

It's just so amazing to see you bright like a Christmas tree (40,16) When your little experiment works ... a real kid, nice to know I'm not the only child My dad always said "The only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys" And now when I myself is getting old, then I have to agree with him ;-) Many thanks for showing and please keep up the good work ... ;-)

Hi, I'm now 63 years, I've recently started to learn microelectronica. I have a very long time ago sometimes done with electronics. But the search for what there is defective on a motherboard, I do not understand it so well. So I follow your beginning lessons closely. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

45 five years for me , I started fixing PC monitors not long ago, thanks to youtube's tutorials . I love computers and high tech gadgets , I disposed of several faulty devices not knowing I could fix them . at our age we can't go to electronics engineenering schools , so youtube is very helpful to learn electronics, along with other websites

Nothing is ever boring with you Sorin, excellent teacher, even though I have a pretty good understanding of electronics i am still enjoying your beginners series, it will be invaluable to anyone starting out in electronics and computer repair, you are very generous with your free time and its something you have to be complimented on.

Hello my friend, I would like to thank you all very heartily for your videos you have made, my English is not good and I translated this slices with the google translater, sorry for that. I've been interested in electronics for a long time and have already read a lot about circuits and hardware, but as much as you explain it and show it is fantastic so that even I understand it with my bad English. I am always fascinated how to repair equipment and find the fault, without schematics and at each device, there are not many such people as you. Today's electronics students learn many things that you can not and can only exchange modules without looking for the error, I think that's bad and many people simply throw away their electrical appliances and buy new although a professional like you would fix the mistake in a short time for little money and thus also a significant contribution to environmental protection l I thank you from the bottom of my heart, you're a great electronics engineer and a very good person, keep it up.rnGreetings from Germany.Wolfgang

No, your lecture is not boring, everyone who wants to be professional should watch your videos, rarely anybody else across the youtube follows your approach. My best respect.

These videos are not boring and knowledged people can simply skip the vid. Its not about how many videos there are on youtube saying the same thing, its about different way of explaining it. I can hear the same thing from 99 people and not get it but hear it from that 1 person and it be clear. Keep making your videos and please make more beginning vids like how these components work in circut.

@Electronics repair school: Sorin - first of all you are definitely not boring. Something is boring when you don't get the idea, you explain the things pretty simply and it's not difficult to follow your ideas and the theory you are explaining. I would advice you to not over criticising yourself, because you are simply the best.

Sorin, I've been watching many beginner lesson videos to learn how to work with electronics. While those videos are informative, none are as entertaining and hands-on as your videos. I love that you're able to keep it easy to understand and demonstrate implementation at the same time. I do not usually comment on videos, but I wanted to thank you for taking the time to make these videos. I am finding them very helpful and you make it fun. I'm very happy I found your lessons. "So lets see some things!"

First of all I want to thank you for the videos , they are really helping me out to learn a lot . I like you style of explaining things . I must say that I don’t agree that the first two videos from this series were boring , even if there are lots of other sources where I could learn about individual components I am enjoying your style of explaining and I regret you did not go ahead with videos about individual components in detail with practical examples. Keep up the the good work !

Hello Sorin ... Another very good video fom the "Master" ..... I am very happy today ... I managed to repair the first laptop that came in my hand. A Dell laptop that did not come on and the charger continue keep entering in protection mode. The problem found very quickly with the multimeter on continuity mode ... and finally tested with a power source at the charging port and my power supply indicates that it is short... I found a capacitor in short ... which also shorted the first 2 MOSFETs. I've been able to replace it and the laptop starts again :D... Thanks to you I found this problem very easy and fast ... These many hours when I watched almost all of your videos on this channel helped me find the problem very quickly and solve it. Thanks again ... and keep making the best videos for helping beginners like me and other people. I say honestly that it helps...

Sorin, the mad scientist 😁👍, omg all I do is sit and watch his videos. I sure hope he doesn't let trolls discourage him to stop making these videos. People are learning so much from this man. All you have to do is sit and watch giving him a chance to explain the best way he can. He will make you raise an eyebrow. I just love it. If RU-vid would let me. I would like every video 100 times. Just because he is 100% trying to share his knowledge with people. Yes,yes I will call him Senpai. *Sorin is my Senpai.*
