Thanks Sorin .. when people talk about Ohms law without a demonstration they never really get it... your crude yet real life demo has helped out a few people I sent to watch your videos.. Thanks again for not editing or fancy transitions.. Cheers from HudsonBay 🇨🇦

Thank you so much for putting your precious time Into these lessons and your other repair videos. I've recently discovered an interest in electronic repair and have invested quite a bit of money in tools and equipment, what I'm lacking is the basic knowledge needed in order to build an understanding instead of just trying to replicate what I see others doing. You're a great teacher. I'll continue to sit and take notes! Thank you sir. Dan. Northern Ireland.

These videos are great, thanks for these, and your other repair videos. 'You can go to university and learn the teery for 5 years, but I keep it short. Like 20 minutes. Because that's all you need for fix.' Absolutely brilliant. A respectful suggestion, though - you don't need to sometimes repeat yourself so much in a video, because people can rewind/replay parts if they don't understand something.

Nice video again. Turn out did not know how to calculate parallel resistance. Checked out the color coding in google, wow learned a lot. Now I understand what happens with power supply tests for short circuit and what they mean. I thought that I knew this stuff. Well thanks for the great lesson man. Yeah, when someone withe experience explains stuff it makes a big difference.

Thank you again. You have a way of making it clear. I can take what I learned here and see how the resistors are placed on a laptop MOBO to create for more, or less power. How a 3V power supply can be reduced to 1.5 using resisters in the circuit for instance.

Hi Sorin, congrats on your 40K subscribers. Could you do a vid in your basics series on how to connect the multi in line with the lab. power supply to measure voltages in the motherboard? How to do it properly. I think I burned my multi.. Very good comments on troubleshooting as a probability thing. Could'nt say it better.

In your 1st video, you mentioned will have a discord room where we can all chat and discuss and share. can you please reply with that link. also, I notice on this video @20:16 you mention that you already covered MOSFETs however, this is only the 2nd video. what am I missing? I am trying to follow step by step.
