I think you intentionally skipped explaining how to brush ''chewing surface'' so that people would get more cavities ......& you more customers as most cavities occur on that surface.

I have some gum recession that seems to be getting worse. I am not sure if it’s my electric toothbrush or me grinding my teeth at night. I do wear a mouth guard from my dentist and the toothbrush I use is from Burst, which was allegedly created by dentists and hygienists. The last time I went to the dentist she told me that the only electric toothbrush I should use should be $100 or more. I feel like I hear a lot of conflicting information and I just want to know your opinion. Should I go back to a regular toothbrush?

you don't need a 100 dollar toothbrush. it's frequency, time, and technique. (2 times a day for 2 minutes each time with bristles pointed toward gums. make sure brush head is soft and don't use too much pressure. hopefully the burst has a pressure sensor. recession is usually caused by pressing too hard, age, and grinding might contribute to it.
