How Do You Color Concrete? 

what if I use white cement and add pigment, i guess that would eliminate the hard-to-get-rid gray color of cement?

I've got a scenario that's a little more unconventional. Would enjoy your advice. Making a concrete jar for candles. Solid black would be the color of choice. Which method of coloring would work the best? It would need to be permanent and withstand the heat.

Thanks for this info! But how to remove colour from concrete?! I tried straight hydrochloric acid, which seemed to actually start leaching the the colour out. BUT it also ate into the concrete a little? . Im afraid of it loosing its structural integrity, breaking it. Any otherways around it? I want to stain it a different colour which is why I am asking. Currently its red, but I want a lighter grey.
