Thank you I an consumed by my past and struggling to find happiness. I am a member of AA and have been sober for 11 and a half years that was the easy part, the hard part is forgiving yourself for behaving like an idiot when you were drunk.

This right here! 😢 I’ve heard all my life that God will forgive me. Maybe other people might forgive me. But I didn’t know I could forgive me. If I’m also supposed to forgive myself, I’m about to experience a freedom and a future I never knew I could experience. Dr. Daniels, God bless you completely sir!

God is the one who forgives us first . But sometimes we fail to let go of the things that God has forgiven and forgotten because the enemy still wants us to feel guilty even though we are forgiven. This can make us feel like we do not have God's forgiveness. So it is important that after we ask God for forgiveness, we also forgive ourselves by allowing us to let go and move on from the things we asked forgiveness for
