Yes... That can definitely happen. Things like daily inhibitors - Fade Bright for example www.platinumskincare.com/fade-bright-lightening/ and retinoids such as Fusion A .15: www.platinumskincare.com/fusion-a-retinoid-concentrate/ and your SPF are super places to start.
I am hoping that you did not do a TCA 30 on the face....we do not recommend that. TCA 30 is intended for body peels. Keep the skin moisturized with Emu Oil or Aquaphor. Don't force that skin to shed too soon. You want it to naturally come off as you are cleansing. Avoid blisters when cleansing as you do not want to further irritate that area.
@@sup-sunny274 Ok... #1. we don't want you to apply multiple layers of this percentage like that. #2. dark skin AFTER it has peeled would be PIH. That could definitely be possible.. especially since you applied 2 layers of this very strong peel. Is your skin Olive tone or darker? We consider that Ethnic skin. Ethnic coloring has a much higher potential to get PIH.. so we always Pretreat with a melanin inhibitor like our Fade Bright or Hydroquinone for 3-4 weeks prior to applying a body peel... and we use a lower %. See this video for that: www.platinumskincare.com/body-peels-which-acid-what-percentage-fitzpatrick/ So, now if you have PIH... you want to treat it the same. Melanin inhibitors daily. See this video: www.platinumskincare.com/so-you-ended-up-with-pih
