He left half of it in the pan because it wasn't even cooked. He was going too fast. It's ok, everyone makes mistakes sometimes, but those aren't what Gordon's eggs are supposed to be.

I made these for breakfast today and they are honestly really delicious. It's good for mornings after lots of drinking when you're feeling too lazy to make an actual meal but you still need something hearty to pick you back up.

I made this today at home. Joining culinary school. I can guarantee you these eggs are absolutely delicious. They are cooked. It's just a different technique. This is gourmet scramble eggs, not the crap you get at a diner.
They’re fully cooked they’re just cooked slowly which is why they fall apart but they’re really good and it’s much better than dry ass scrambled eggs like everyone usually makes
I have an electric stove and I just cook mine on 5. It takes a bit longer, but I am constantly service. I also use a small mixer to stir my eggs before putting them in the pan to cook.
Hey dude so as someone who always thought the way you did and grew up cooking the way you likely do. I have to admit, I followed this recipe a couple years back and haven’t switched since. Basically because you take extra time, mix the butter and whisk like crazy you get this amazing texture whilst it’s still cooked and somehow it always tastes better truly. Give it a go I promise

My boss said something that stuck with me, eggs are the one food you'll eat the rest of your life in the way your mom made them for you. He's right because I love cheese omelettes where the cheese runs out and gets crispy, I love my over easy eggs with a crispy bottom, that's how my mom made em for me and I'm a chef for 20 years
Trust me guys give it a try. They may look runny but this is actually a really classical French technique of cooking eggs.And it tastes absolutely delicious I tried it the other day and it has so much more flavor.Don’t knock it till u try it remember

To anyone that actually likes their eggs cooked a little more. If you use this process and continue to cook them until they are done, you do get really fluffy eggs
