James shows off his great WAAAAAAGH (BTW the g is silent apparently!) SPONSOR: Go to www.audible.com/playontabletop or text playontabletop to 500 500 to get your free trial.
While many abbreviate the word by cutting off the final consonants, The G isn’t silent. You’re supposed to hold the Aaaaaa for so long that your local guardsman shoots you in the face, hence cutting off the G.
I've never played a video so fast, this awesome man with his beautiful waaagh dragged me back to the hobby when first appeared on channel, thanks Play on Tabletop for keeping up with the great contents
I made an Ork Kill team and then just had to get all the buggies and trucks! Resisting the urge to build a full army mostly because I don't like repeating kits.
If you take into consideration that generally every other word spoken by the Orks is mispronounced or altered in some way, then I would have to say that "Waaagh" or however you decide to pronounce it, is simply the Ork word for War.
"The Saga of the Beast" is cool and all... but it's told from the perspective of 'umies and they always leave out the best parts. For the ork side of things try Guy Haley's funny string of stories "Engine of Mork" "Evil Suns Rising" and "Klaw of Mork". The story continues in audio-drama form with "End of Daze" "Bozgat's Big Adventure" and "WAAAGH Faker" (all three collected in "Prophets of WAAAGH!"). "Brutal Kunnin" the only full-on Ork novel (by Mike Brooks) shows the orks battle for a Forge World against the Adeptus Mechanicus, Chaos, and themselves. The novel picks up after a short story that eludes me (someone else probably knows where to find it), but you don't need to read it to enjoy "Brutal Kunnin".
Love the army. Always happy to see someone’s sum of their work on the table. Thanks for the shoutout to the community, we all try hard to provide a welcoming informational involvement for everyone! Much appreciated.
jajaja love your Orks! i got my own army of orks (loooots of gray plastic crack), i guess its time to paint them, i play space wolves ... but i collect orks for the beauty of the waaagh (even have more orks than s.w.) jajajaja guess im gonna switch my army to orks for the lols ... Saludos desde México J.J.!!!
I think the stomper is one of the best value for the size model gw does and it's plastic. £75 for that big chunk of orkness it's cheaper then a knight and twice as big.
I believe the g in the WAAAGH!! represents the kind of gurgle of phlegm at the back of the throat, putting enough passion into the WAAAGH!! to bypass the pronunciation of the g.
the "g" and "h" are silent : in a video game (don't remember wich) we hear them screaming and they really pronouce it " waaaaa". Also, remember it means "war"
@@JimJones-ur3el I'm starting an Ork army (since I'm nearly done with my T'au) and ya I joined the community there is so much modifications and customizations with the Orks, its crazy! I'm going to have a blast building them! You should make a unit of Orks with baseball bats named the "Knights Destroyers" lol
