She made that look extremely difficult. If she takes that long to get to one tail, I can't eat with her. We'd be all day waiting for her to finish. She literally sat there and peeled the whole tail and made a terrible mess.

You have to break the tail off. drink the juice from the body. which tastes delicious. then rip the head off and drink that too. then you eat the tale. the juice inside is from the seasoning. not body juice or anything. They take that stuff out when there feasting them. Some people eat the yellow stuff inside. it's healthy
Damn I'm from New York and I eat crawfish right! She does it the hard (and stupid!) way! Here's a step by step for ya kids! 1. Grab the craw. 2. Straighten the tail. 3. Push the tail into the body and twist. 4. Pull. 5. peel first "ring" off of tail. 6. Bite firmly onto the meat, pinch the bottom of the tail hard (to free the meat) 7. Pull the meat away and eat. 8. Lick the seasoning from outside the head. 9. Bite down about an inch up from there the tail was on the body (to avoid a mouthful of guts.) 10. Suck the juice and fat out. 11. Repeat until crawdaddies are gone!
omg.. you're meant to twist the head a bit, after that, gently push it in the head so you can get all the meat instead of pulling it out quickly. That's when you get a straight line of meat ( 0:44 ) which you don't want so you gotta push the tail towards the head. Then just bite the meat and press the tail so all that meat can open up to the world. Some might be saying take the first ring out first, but you don't have to since you pushed the tail inwards the head.
I used to have a pet crayfish that legit looked like a lobster it was bigger than my hand. I miss him. my step dad cray fish sit, and forgot about him. He died :-(

I swear, people act like people from different parts of the Southeast don't eat crawfish right. I see so many people saying she's wrong. And some that say she's wrong explain how her way is stupid and how they do it. But someone replies on their comment that they're wrong. If there are so many people that are saying it's wrong, why should anyone care? Just eat the damn crawfish LOL 😂 y'all would be fucking starving by the time y'all decide who's right.
Ok there is a right and wrong way. I'LL tell you why, if she's eating by herself that's a good way to show someone. But on the other hand if your sitting with a group of experienced crawfish eaters, and you put in on them, you need to know the right way to get your money's worth. Because people won't stop or slow down because your eating slow, or don't know what you're doing. My mom had 10lbs. she was gonna cook something with and she said don't eat them all, BUT , no one told my dad that, he walked in and went to work in less than 3 minutes he was done and out. We was trying to figure out how to tell my mom what happened, because he ate and got out of there so quick, he sit down in the front room like nothing happened and didn't say anything. first time i ever ate craw fish was last month and instead of twisting the tail off i was able to pull the tail up and crack it off. i was able to pull more meat out of the head with all the deliciousness inside. there was not much left to suck from the head after that.
First of all, Baton Rouge is NOT the “Home of the crawfish!” Even if you’re NOT New Orleans. Most of the crawfish come from Crowley. You don’t wear bibs, they’re not lobsters! You definitely don’t eat them out a a little bitty bowl. We also don’t pick up each one and look at it to determine the best way of peeling it. 🤷🏻♂️🤣🤣🤣
U got to suck all the juice from the head and eat the babies in the head also but if the inside of the head is very dirty just throw it away. That’s what I do
I’m from sweden so i know how to eat crawfish, we even have a holiday for eating crawfish. First off twist the tail that they did and maybe (if you want) give it a little suck. Then take off the shells from the tail, THEN THE MOST IMPORTANT, be sure to take the black string off the tail, because that crawfish shit. Then twist off the ‘thumb’ part of the claw and suck and eat the meat that comes off. There you go you Americans.
