How Do You See Yourself? | Steven Furtick 

This was so timely. I was just a few moments ago the closest I’ve ever been to committing suicide as I was deprived of attention, validation and love by my loved ones. But God prompted me to listen to this message. Thank you Father for choosing me even though I depended on the love and validation of others. I am not sure whether I’ve overcome the temptation of suicide, but now I’m confident that God still sees me, chooses me and loves me as He just saved me from making the worst decision of my life. I am not where I want to be, but I’m certainly not where I was anymore. Im living to fight for another day. Whoever is reading this, I pray that you will persevere every valley and battle thrown at you physically, mentally and spiritually and I pray that you will be conquerers of your chains in perseverance. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

He says “I see you. Other people see what you’re showing them, I see what you hide. And I want you” ❤️

Man 3 months I have felt an lived like this. Walked away from it turned my head shut my ears, an tried to do it on my own. My wonderful wife has watched an listened to his sermons an she was like you should watch this. THIS WAS MADE FOR ME!!! THIS HIT DEEP. I have been seen by the Father but was ashamed. No more! I am loved I am worthy I need no ones validation besides that of God. Thank you Steven. Loved it brother

God saw something in me that other people didnt

I never stop to celebrate because I am fearful of something going wrong as soon as something good comes to pass. In my past that seems to be how it happend. I also set my mind on a goal and never stop to enjoy the process so focused on the end result only! Father I pray that I can get better in both of these areas!! In Jesus name Amen!!!!

I felt like he was speaking directly to me and then he said, "be encouraged, Little Lindsay." - which is my name. 😶😭

It's easier to celebrate when you get to see it's God doing it for us. 💕💞 What a joy Knowing we do nothing without him and we fully depend on his promises. He's a good God..

I am a celebrated daughter of the Most High- my Father. He sees when people only see your mistakes while ignoring their own. He sees it all and He doesn't see me as people who know my past does. He sees me as His own! I celebrate that!!!

He ran to me, He took me in his arms, held my head to his chest, He said "my son's coming home again". He lifted my face and wiped the tears from my eyes, He said "son, do you know I still love you? " When God ran to me and I ran to Him. Praise the Lord.

God sees through everything 😭 🙌🏾 Guys, the heartbreaking thing is that you only notice that you’re after someone’s validation when you’re either out of the relationship or tired of trying to impress them 🙈 like I once tried to impress this guy with my academic achievement and he didn’t congratulate me. When that happened I got so frustrated 🙈 after the relationship ended, I noticed that I was chasing after things that only God could give. I wish I fully knew how to depend on getting that validation from God, but I know now that I’m not going to look for it in people. God bless you all 😌 may He fill your hearts ❤️

The father saw the son and before the son could say anything, he ran to him, threw his arms around him and kissed him. Grace & mercy defined.

This helped me so much , I am that son and was thrown away by so many people and would always say “I never had a dad I am used to being alone “ when truly I HAVE HAD THE BEST FATHER ONE COULD EVER ASK FOR JESUS CHRIST !!!!

This year i am sober because of u and my pastor here at my church and others but people said let that go. I need to validate myself i dont need to wear a mask anymore. It's ok to hurt and let go. Hey Pastor! I lost my job. I am not sad. It feels weird that I don't feel alone or depress. I actually feel encourage and like celebrating. I prayed to Him in the midst of pandemic. I asked that my family would survive year 2020 and I badly needed my job to provide and pay all our bills. I asked Him that if our company will need to reduce employment, He can do it by year 2021 because I am not ready yet with all the stuff happening. And He did!!!!! Yesterday, January 4, I became jobless on monday morning. 😭 I am not sad because I prayed for this. 😁 Last year, I am so depressed and stuck with a work that I hate. I was swallowed up by social media. I think my soul is getting darker and darker each day. I was in a cage and unable to go out. I don't know how to survive. So I prayed again, I asked that He would stop me from scrolling and reacting and watching. If only I can find something that will close my eyes and will not crave for this thing. Then out of nowhere, your channel was recommended to me. I am sorry. I haven't even finish your sermon. I can't take it. I am not a Godly type of person. Then, I'm flooded by your videos on youtube!!!!!!! I started watching since you keep popping out. I started with "I'm confused about my calling". I didn't realize how much I am into His words that I deactivated and deleted all my social media. I got to meet Peter, David, the woman from Somaria and many more. I am so thankful for all His words coming from your mouth. I actually own and embrace it as if all the message is for me.
