Very good job! I had my guy from work who does the industrial rack at big stores. He was blown away. Said this was very good and I now know allot more.

Thank you for creating this video. Thanks to you I can develop a simple yet genius idea that could possibly save millions of lives if developed properly and invested in fully
Visiting family and their freezer isn't freezing. Check the condenser coils: they weren't as dirty as I expected. Cleaned the coils about 3 days ago, so I assume it's been enough time for the evaporator coils to frost over. Then checked the evaporator coils yesterday and only the bottom coil is frozen or covered in frost. Your video explained that if only part of the coils are frosted over, then the sealed system has developed a restriction or leak. This is what I believe the problem is, not only because of this video, but also due to a response I received from another youtuber. Would you concur?
If the evaporator is froze up you may have a defrost problem, or if the shelves are the evaporator and are completely covered with frost they will not be as efficient and will need to be defrosted before the freezer will work properly. Another thing that will make the unit run a lot is if you have a Freon leak and only part of the evaporator coil is getting frost. If all of the components of the freezer are working you may have a Freon leak and the unit may not be worth repairing.
The compressor should cycle off at some point. The normal recommended freezer temperature is around 0 degrees f. If the freezer is at or around 0 you can try and turn down the thermostat to see if it will shut off. The thermostat contacts may be stuck or it may just be out of calibration. It is possible to be cold enough to freeze the food but not cold enough to cycle off the thermostat.
hi dear I have GE upright freezer model FUF21SVARWW suddenly after electrical shut down in my home the freezer not functioning at all no compressor sound and no fan only control panel is working without effect and interior light can you help me ?>
I have a Maytag upright frost free freezer , my compressor and condensing fan are not in the back .I can't find them anywhere , can you help me . the condensing fan made noises then stopped .temps went up to 30 f , so I set a room fan at the back and the temps dropped to -1 f .
My upright freezer's evaporator coils are not cooling/frosting. The copper tube that leads up to them, has frost on it. It's just not getting to the coils. The freezer had been unplugged for a year, but was working fine at the time. Just didn't need it. The compressor is working and the fan by the coils is working. The cold, just isn't making it to the coils. I'm wondering if it might be the thermistor, the temperature sensor or the control panel. I've been told each of the 3. Also, I've seen a video, where it's suggested that the system may have developed a leak. Any suggestions?
I have a frigidaire upright freezer that worked perfectly until we moved it to our new house. Now it doesn't even turn on. We have checked the outlet for power and it is fine.
Our freezer doesn't have a condenser. I removed the side cover and saw just a compressor and a fan. Nothing else. The fan and the compressor always start and stop simultaneously. Could the compressor work as a condenser too, or the condenser is located somewhere else? Nice and simple video...
No, it either has a condenser coil above the compressor or some are built into the walls of the freezer but it has to have both a condensing coil and evap. coil.
i have a whirlpool side-by-side freezer/refrigerator. the refrigerator is fine. i replaced the defrost timer. The freezer motor/fan, the freezer thermostat and the defrost heater each work and have continuity. but every week or so the heater won't stop heating and the freezer won't re-freeze. i can restart the freezer by turning the defrost timer. any suggestions?
1:11 it's wrongly explained. Compressor doesn't convert gas to liquid. It converts evaporated gas from evaporator to HIGH PRESSURE and HIGH TEMPERATURE GAS. After that compressed gas is converted to liquid in the condensor.
What creates the suction noise when I close my Whirlpool upright freezer door ? Is there a pump that sucks out some air to help seal ? Your video's are a great help.
I have an older Kenmore chest freezer (1988165382) that works fine but needs a new gasket, but the parts for this model are no longer available. Is there no way to determine the current model that would be the same size and use a gasket for that model?
My 20 yr old Whirlpool upright freezer is working ok but, there is water frozen at bottom and the door no longer has that vacuum pressure when closing or opening. In fact, the door opens too easily. I noticed a gap at lower gasket. I cleaned the gasket but didn't help. What do u think could be wrong? Thanks for any help u can provide.
771blahblah Your freezer's gasket may be worn out and may need to be replaced. There could be another issue causing the freezing water at the bottom of the unit. Enter your freezer's model number in our website's Repair Help for troubleshooting help: www.repairclinic.com/repairhelp?TLSID=1773.
i have the unit the one you are showing in this program and its not cooling . i was told to turn it of for 18 to 24 hrs before turning it back on and i did but i noticed the fan is not blowing that high or its not normal. what should i do
I have a Amana side by side refrigerator. The defrost coil with defroster failed to work and I cut some wires and the frig continues to this day (6 years) to work properly without any frosting. Explain how this can be? Freezer side is zero and frig side about 50.
This is most likely a problem with the defrost heater, defrost thermostat or defrost control. As stated in this video, the heater and thermostat can be tested for continuity. If both of them check out it is most likely a problem with the defrost control.
I have a Kenmore freezer that just quit working all together, what could be the problem, does the unit have a capacitor, that could have malfunctioned?
Fridgidaire upright freezer has been unplugged for a couple of months, when I moved to a new location to set it up, there is this beeping noise and says door ajar, what should I do?
I have a Frigidaire chest freezer. The temp Alarm is going off continually since a power outage. I have tried unplugging the unit to reset to no avail. The lights and alarm reset on the lid not working now. What to do ?
Is it normal for my Whirlpool upright freezer to go from -10 degrees to 26 degrees and stays there a few times a day, where my ice cream will get soft then hard again?
louis tournas There is always two coils in a refrigeration system. The condenser coil in a freezer is usually in the outer cabinet with the end connected to a capillary tube that goes to the evaporator coil that is located in the freezer. At 45 seconds into the video there are two coils the smaller coil is the evaporator witch is white and the larger one is the condenser that is a reddish color.
Dale Kessler There is a solenoid in the rear that a rod on the underside of the bucket goes to. Make sure that solenoid can move up and down as it is probably locked up.
