Safest way is to measure the hole. Like drills, reamers will make the hole slightly oversized.

If you need an exact engineered size then you’d buy a regular reamer. Adjustable reamers are just to make a clearance.

Used engine oil absorbed into your skin can give you testicular cancer. Arc welding without gauntlets or adequate UV protection can give you melanoma. If you don't even look after yourself, the chances are that you will be equally remiss in taking care of what you are working on eg by holding things in the vice without using soft jaws and marking them.
