@professor Pentane, I was hoping you can explain in a video an auto A/C system with a auxiliary Evaporator. The front Evap uses a OT and the rear Evap uses an TXV. It only has an accumulator and No Receiver/dryer. With a scroll compressor and clutch fan. How much more difficult is it to trouble shoot this system and what would be the "good/normal" pressure readings on a manifold gauge.

Hi Alfredo, I have another video talking about rear A/C systems and how they effect pressures. Please watch to answer your questions: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-k2xGv6CyJyI.html

Great Video. I need HELP. I am working on 2006 Mercury Mountaineer V8 4.6L. Replaced one Orifice tube by the firewall. But my brother-in-law informed me that there are 2 orifice tubes in the system. Is it true? If so where is the second orifice tube should be? Thank you for your help in advance.

My 2002 mercury mountaineer 4.6L also has an auxiliary Evaporator in the rear but it uses a TXV and not a OT. It's located next to the Evap on the rear Left side. You need to disassemble the interior in that section.

What university bruh? I can't make it out in any of your vids..., kinda rattled fast & not enunciating too well.. But thank you for these videos, they are the best I've found anywhere!

I have change the compressor the cindenser and the acomulator on an f150 2006 and now im getting about 70 psi on the low side and 350 plus on the high side and if i remove refrigerant presures regulate and it needa more refrigerant ? What do u think about this the evaporator is restructed ?

Hi professor. How about if the evap is freezing up and I changed the low pressure switch on the accumulator and the charge is good? No restrictions on the evap or draining for it as well. What could be the problem? Clogged OT?

What if you had an orifice screen air conditioning system that high pressure was about 200 lb low pressure 35 at a 90° day with the blower motor on low turn the blower motor on high high pressure goes up to over 350 and low pressure goes almost into a vacuum and noticed ice accumulating up to evaporator

Hi Scott, On an Orifice Tube system, the compressor should kick off under 20 psi from a low pressure cycling switch or other related freeze-up control. I would start there, but you could have more than one problem here. The OT could also be restricted. Good Luck!

Very nice explanation. When converting an older system from R-12 to R-134a, would you recommend changing out the orifice tube to what is used in the early 134a systems?
